NBC over here just did a really nice feature on the achievements of team GB.  It's probably on youtube already.  Really impressed with the entire Olympics.  Closing ceremonies haven't been aired yet but looking forward to watching.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Yeah, I'm not too sure on that.

But it has become a bit of a tradition to say 'it's the best Olympics ever!'. Sydney was, Beijing was etc etc, next Rio will be the next 'best one ever'.

Beijing, Sydney and even Athens were better for me. Beijing was by far the best IMO.

Many people have said that, their opening ceremony was amazing but people who were there said that it would have been the best but it was too militaristic.

What is it with people feeling the need to rate everything all of the time? A great games is a great games. Who gives a f'uck if Beijing had more fireworks or London more of an atmosphere, when there is so much to admire about the whole event. Tedious b'astards.

This is a forum. There is nothing wrong with people making comparisons. I can see by the tenor of your post you are upset that the event has come to a close. Go to bed and sleep it off, you may feel better in the morning.

Pointless comparisons from people who've probably never been to any of the games they're so keen to rate...yeah, you're right. Night.  :)

Pointless in your opinion.

Many people, myself included won't lose sleep over the fact you're jumping up and down because they want to compare the Olympics. Get over it ya whinge-bag.

Also, remind me when you're watching the footie this season to remind you that you are not allowed to rate and compare players and teams if you watched the game via the goggle box.
