So some bloke from a transfer rumours site, who has gotten plenty wrong before, says we're signing a 'major star' on loan and all of a sudden everyone thinks we're getting David Villa?

Heard that Tottenham (around £7.5m) have put in a bid for Raheem Sterling (permanent move), if true, the LFC board, Manager etc better tell them to F**k Right Off.

Raheem won't go we have a policy of recruiting youngsters I don't think we would then sell one of our promising youngsters

I think spurs are talked about more in here than liverpool. No way would they pay 7.5 million for him. Hes done nothing in the first team to prove he is worth anywhere near that figure, sure he looks like a great prospect but i dont see spurs even thinking about that kind of figure. I hope its true as it will show AVB is off his rocker.

The press going with De Vries (ex Swans Keeper) and Butland in, Brad Jones (Norwich) and Doni out.

I get the feeling these are rather more plausible rumours than David Villa on loan, as if that happens I will eat my hat.
