Hence a loan. If he gets any where near what he was then we are laughing. If not he goes back to Barca. If we get them to pay some of his wages even better.

If its true a BIG player is coming to the club then Villa would be a good bit of business for both us and Barcelona. As you quite rightly pointed out he is recovering from a leg break in which he will need to regain his fitness. He has 3 years left on his contract at the present time if he comes to us and plays very well then Barcelona have a choice to keep the player or sell for more then they would get with him sitting on the bench getting 15-20 minutes here and there.

If he doesnt play all so well then im sure he will be offered to us at a lower price a perk to the loan deal.

To conclude if its true that a Big player is coming to liverpool on loan i dont see many others that would fit the bill than David Villa

When Rafa tried to sign him in Jan 2005:

I don't speak English and I don't like The Beatles either so I am staying here.

I think Barca will keep him but if does end up moving I doubt it will be to an English club.

David Villa throughout his whole career has turned down moves to the Prem as he said he has no intention of leaving Spain.

Who says Barce would even suggest he could go on loan to us.

David Villa is an outstanding striker who also hasn't played since last year. No one will know how he will return after breaking his leg.

Who needs proven world class strikers when you can sign Clint Dempsey? 

Can anyone really see Barce letting him go ?!

Also can anyone really see us having chance of getting him when CL clubs would be after him in a flash if they thought he was available?!
