I believe FSG have little do with the day-to-day running of the club that falls to people like Ian Ayre. I believe that FSG constantly assess situations surrounding the club throughout the course of the season and then have an end-of-season review to see what needs alterating, what can be improved, what went well.
The criticism that FSG have had to endure over the last few weeks is a disgrace and people should be ashamed of themselves. I hope FSG make us successful, because I just want people like the Leprachun man and Benny the Noon to eat a rather large slice of humble pie.

I agree with your last point about the criticism of FSG, but that statement about FSG not being in the loop....I think that is naive. I am sure they were aware of the approach and supported it, but changed their approach when they saw it going wrong and I think that is the sign of good fluid decision making.
I do not see the club as morons for supporting a stance that they have made then choosing to let it go and not fan the flames any more following the massive loss we clearly experienced in the press, it's called cutting your losses.
I do think we should have had a slightly lighter approach to the whole situation. If we'd been more careful we could have supported Suarez, made our point and won the media battle. We just played into Fergies hands here.

he had it in for suarez from the minute he ripped united to shreds at anfield when kuyt got the hat trick.
the two faced arl ***** knew what he was doing when he called suarez a diver, and sure enough from that moment on every commentator and journalist parrotted fergusons words.
and ferguson was well out of order saying we should sell suarez and for once the media agreed, they said he wouldnt have liked it if roy evans told him he should sell cantona after he went into the crowd but ferguson couldnt let the opportunity go without trying to engineer suarez`s exit from this club.

The thing that got Suarez banned was Liverpool not taking a hard line stance and getting their solicitors all over the FA show trial verdict instead of blinking and doing a 180.

Do you honestly think that is more to do with Fergie claiming that or more to do with the fact that Suarez goes down easier than Sonny Liston vs Ali in '65?
