cool. we'll dim the lights a bit, put some barry white on, skrtel and kuyt can gyrate around in flimsy underwear while he snorts lines of coke off jay spearing's tits.

Although I think Charlie Adam's t.its would be more perky to snort off.

I was at Guardiola's pressa yesterday. He didnt say "for the next month I have to recharge my batteries and my mind",, he said "months"!!!!

Guardiola, as said many times, is to take a sabbatical next season. Guardiola was answering in English my question about a sabbatical and said he'll take "months" off

May could count as the first month and June the second.  2 is technically "months".   We can still hope.... right?   :D

Whilst I agree with your sentiment, let me play devils advocate for a moment.

As successful as he has been with Barcelona there is no guarantee that a man who has a total of just 5 years coaching experience all at one club would be able to repeat that success at another club especially one that doesn't contain the plethora of talent that he enjoyed at Barcelona.

Whilst his current stature in the game is one commiserate with what we'd want for a Liverpool manager IF we were to capture Guardiola I think it would be foolish to expect him to return us to glory in the short term and I'm not sure that a lack of quick success would encourage him to remain for the long term.

Like I said just playing Devils Advocate, of course we should talk to him if he was remotely interested but I'd still harbour some reservations as to whether he would in fact be the right man for the job.

I completely agree, I certainly don't think any particular appointment guarantees sucess. But let's be honest, Pep would attract a much higher calibre of players than Martinez or Rodgers.

Well that maybe the case but if the money isnt there to spend then we aint getting no top quality players.

Im sure When martinez gets unveiled and starts work we can see what the man can do. Until then im hoping the negative comments about him go away

really? surely the lure of playing for Liverpool FC regardless who the manager is and getting paid £100k per week would be enough for most? Just saying, I think this 'get a top manager to attract top players is a bit of a lame excuse myself.

Martinez in charge, owners with money, Liverpool playing sexy football and rising from the ashes once more heading towards CL footie might just be enough for most.

While i tend to agree you would have to admit trying to get a big name player from another country that say Arsenal where chasing would be a bit easier with Pep than Martinez.
