no to AVB as well, massive risk, already proved he cannot handle it. I expect him to flee to Italy

Time to move on, Rafa had his chance. Lets not forget how bad his final season was with us, it was nearly as bad a this season! though i would glady take Rafa over the likes of Martinez, Brendan Rodgers and Paul Lambert right now.

We are now in the position where, if you dont get it right after one season youre out!
Like someone just said, we have turned into chelsea...

You are going overboard on the drama there. If we had improved our league form compared to last season i'm sure Kenny would still be here.

As for Klopp he took over Dortmund when they had finished 13'th. Got them up to 6th and fifth in the next two seasons before he won the title. The team improved every season and won the league in 3 years.

I dont want Rafa at all. He lost the plot and I dont know if hes found it yet?
But. I would take him any day over the bottom feeders, Martin oneill, or any other mediocre managers out there.
If we cant get Hiddink or Guardiola then it has to be Rafa Im afraid

I fear some of the names being banded about are a little ambitious  :(

f*ck no! I dont want Rafa anywhere near the hotseat. He certainly had his chances and he blew it. He was one of the reason for the downfall of Liverpool making inexcusable decisions like selling Alonso, buying Aquilani, playing boring tactical defensive football & his rotational policy was questionable. Man management was poor and often alienating his own players by not communicating with them.

The owners need to aim high. And by high I mean Guardiola, Klopp, Vilas Boas. Managers like Martinez & Fraser will not command the level of respect our squad need instilling. They are new and in developmental stages of their career.

Kenny only started rotation when injuries began kicking in. At the beginning of the season he was regularly playing the likes of Adam, Henderson, Carroll.

Only candidate is Pepe Guardiola, but he is taking a year off

AVB has just been unceremoniously booted out of a club where none of the players respected him because they were a bunch or arrogant, overhyped chav c*nts

Fixed that for you   :;):

Thanks
They then went on to win the fa cup and are in the CL final on saturday

Failed at Chelsea with a sugar daddy owner..no experience outside Portugal and looked completley out of his depth in every way.  NO chance

rafa performed a miracle at this club, infact no other manager in the history of football could have done a better job, i honestly believe that.
when he first took over people forget the state this club was in, the last couple of years of houlliers reign had left everyone with their chins on the floor, the style of footy was so dire that away fans used to chant `hoof` at us. everyone thought LFC was a busted flush, moores said he had no more money and he had to sell the club and our 2 star players who came through the ranks (gerrard and owen) thought the club was so far off the pace they wanted out.
rafa`s first job was to fly out to an england camp and to try and convince gerrard and owen to stay, he couldnt convince owen so we lost our big name star player, the jewel in our crown.
rafa just shrugged his shoulders and said it wasnt a problem, he then signed some players from spain i`d never heard of, alonso or something like that was one of them.
rafa benitez took houlliers no hopers, added 1 or 2 players, gave them direction and then won the f**king european cup, 2 years later he got to the final again.
in 3 years at this club he`d been to more european cup finals with liverpool than ferguson had up to that point in 20 years at united.
he took on and beat the chelsea`s, barcelona`s and real madrids when their managers held all the aces in their hand, they had the star names, they had the money, all rafa had was his notepad and his tactics but thats all he needed, oh, he also had the liverpool fans believing in him so much that the ground actually became a factor again, for 3 or 4 years it was like the old days again.
what rafa did in europe was a f**king miracle, i really mean that, there was no way we should have been one of if not `the` top side in europe at that point.
he nearly performed a second miracle, and if it wasnt for the 2 yanks i think he would have.
in the league the likes of chelsea were like city now, they spent more money than any club had in the history of the game, united were still spending big money and arsenal had a great side too.
without having the riches of solomon benitez near enough built a title winning side, despite the power and the wealth of the other clubs he nearly pulled off a second miracle, infact if we had managed to keep our side together for one more season we would have pi$$ed the league, united just about pipped us to the post with ronaldo, tevez and rooney in their side (even so we beat that side 4-1 at their place), the following season united lost ronaldo and tevez but because of the yanks we couldnt hold our team together either. that summer we didnt even need to buy anyone, benitez had done the impossible, he had built a title winning side it`s just that it broke up before we won the thing.
benitez was brought down from inside by the enemy within.
because he performed miracles people expected them to happen all the time.

Completely and utterly agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Rafa went for a reason, lets not get sentimental and want a manager who was once a legend ...................... hmmmmm deja ....................
Several players made the odd negative comment about rafa treating his players like computer parts ahead of humans with no emotion.  Time to move on.

Gord i hope we dont get martinex, villas sh1tas or any of these 'up and coming' managers.

I hate the bloke but for me it has to be Moanrinho.

Why?

Because LFC is still one of the biggest football clubs in the world off the field of play.  On it we are ten years off winning the league.  This guy transforms sides with his arrogance, enthusiasm and will to win.  This would be the biggest challenge of his carear, to bring LFC back to the top and knock man utd off their f'in perch.

Fancy it Moanrinho, i dont see why not.!

"Since when?", "Mr 2 posts" to your name.

Vilas Boas has high potential and he proved it by taking over a team that werent in the top 4; won them the UEFA cup, their association cup, then goes the next season undefeated to the title. He failed at Chelsea because players & likewise the owner didnt give him a chance in hell. Kenny (in contrast) had chances to prove all season & half of last season - theres a difference.
