Doni - 4 Not a good time in our history to be making ones debut.
Flanagan - 5 Lots of energy and willingness but little product. One for the future though.
Carragher - 5 Can't see any logic in him starting ahead of Coates currently. Needs a new focus (coaching?)
Skrtel - 6 Strong and good in the air.
Enrique - 6 Lively. Looks jaded and depressed though.
Henderson - 5 Got a little better as the game went on. Dosen't inspire enthusiasm though.
Gerrard - 7 Much better than recent times. Good passing and was very busy.
Shelvey - 6 Should have stayed on.
Downing - 6 Was looking sharp. Shoulda stayed on too.
Kuyt - 5 Was very Dirk Kuyt-ish.
Suarez - 6 Decent game. Deserved a goal, but stay on your dang feet, dude!

Subs:
Carroll (Downing) - 5 Lively but ineffective.
Bellamy (Shelvey) - 5 Ditto.
Agger (Enrique) - 7 Seemed to inspire some Viking fight into the team.

Doni - 6 Flapped on a cross that led to a goal, still, no midfielders coming back were 'more' at fault for this. Commanded the 6yard box better than Reina IMO -did well.
Flanagan - 6
Carragher - 7
Skrtel - 7
Enrique - 5 he's starting to irritate me. Needs to release the ball earlier when going forward.
Henderson - 6 Had a decent enough game
Gerrard - 6 didn't look like he was sulking this week.
Shelvey - 6 did okay, wayward header that Villa capitalised on for their goal. Other than that looked good moving the ball forward.
Downing - 6
Kuyt - 6 How did he miss that sitter.
Suarez - 7 Passes often went wayward.

Subs:
Carroll (Downing) - 6
Bellamy (Shelvey) - 5
Agger (Enrique) - 7

Doni - 5, Did ok though don't like it when he punches the ball away when he should catch
Flanagan - 5, Got forward well, distribution wasn't great though - we need Johnson or Kelly back for next week
Carragher -  4, Slow and ponderous at times given how much he actually had to do, Agger needed badly
Skrtel - 7, Solid as ever
Enrique - 4, He is getting worse game by game, given he was probably our best player before Christmas, passing was woeful at times - looks fed up
Henderson - 6, much better in the middle but still needs to look forward more instead of playing safe balls a lot of the time, better though overall
Gerrard - 6, decent game, but took too long to impose himself
Shelvey - 5, worked hard but not a first teamer for me
Downing - 6, as ever good bits and bad bits
Kuyt - 5, as ever ran his socks off, but we need a bit more quality I am afraid and he doesn't have it
Suarez - 5, stay on your feet mate

Subs:
Carroll (Downing) - 5, too late Kenny
Bellamy (Shelvey) - as above
Agger (Enrique) - 5, great to have him back, future captain

Doni - 6 Albeit for the goal and a touch of dawdling on the ball seemed composed
Flanagan - 6 I like this kid ,but his confidence is presently shot to bits .
Carragher - 4 went to ground way to easily to allow Herd to rifle into the top of our net
Skrtel - 7 dependable ,and will be looking forward to renewing his partnership with the commanding /imperious Agger
Enrique - 4 Decidedly dodgy performance with echo's of Insua or dare I say the Doss
Henderson - 7 Improved immeasurably in the second half and used the ball well ,needs to be given the midfield slot on a permanent basis .
Gerrard - 6 Better than his last few performances ,but still not as consistent as we would all like him to be .
Shelvey - 7 I thought the lad has done well since he forced his way back into the team .
Downing - 6 His first cross of the game was exceptional, and any forward in the premiership would have accepted the beauty of its conception with glee.
Kuyt 5 Mr Duracell is buying dodgy batteries
Suarez 7 Kept trying ,but please please start passing the ball instead of constantly marrying the fucker .

Subs:
Carroll (Downing) - 6 Should have been introduced way earlier
Bellamy (Shelvey) - 6 Unlucky to hit the bar ,but low on energy
Agger (Enrique) - 8 Simply because I cant contain my bias for one of the few players who deserve the tag 'World Class '
