Ok, how many assists have Aqualiani got and how many have Adam got? Simple enough question just to show how ignorant you can be!

theres only one answer to that, Aqua has played a LOT more games than Adam.

Personally Adam wins everytime, he wanted to come here and it made it well known, Aqua didn't and has declared AC a big leap in his career.

I know which of the two I'd want at my club regardless of their abilities

That is a totally different ballgame.
If Aquilani doesn't want to be here then he can :censored: off.
I am talking about ability only.

He had 6 assists in 9 PL games for us. Adam won't be close to that.

a quick search on wiki reckons he made 18 league appearances? Surely they can't be that far off?

or are you saying he only made 9 starts?

Forgive that season is a blur, and rightly so

You are correct, 9 starts.
But counting 5-10 min subs I feel is wrong.

the bottom line is Aquaman does not want to play for Liverpool FC. therefore, Kenny will not play him. and that is the end of it.

No true mate. Kenny himself said that he trained brilliantly and had an excellent preseason. The problem Aquilani faced was that Kenny could not (didn't want to?) find a place for him in the team.

and the rest....

The quotes are on the offal

This is the way I see it - we have those who think he's the second coming citing one half of the quotes and the others who say b0llocks we're fine without him and read the FULL quotes.

Stop seeing half the story, its getting beyond ridiculous

nobody on this forum is doubting his footballing ability, I personally am doubting his mindset

When he was at Juve... at any point did he say he would gladly return to Liverpool and fight for his place?
He only said that when it looked like nobody wanted him... He knew he needed to say something to please the fans just in case he had to stay here.

Now he's finally got what he considers a big "leap" in his career.

They dont rate Acqua or he would still be here. Club has to give out positive signals as at some point they wuld like some money back on him but I fear the £20m is long gone and we wont get a penny of it back, anyways hes off the wage bill and thats as good as we could get. I find it hard to beleive  he would not have attracted a bid of some sort from a club so my guess is he would only move to Italy (where no one will pay the fee) or sit out his contract, so Liverpool did the best they could under the circumstances.

Kenny has been allowed to spend more in 6 months at the helm than Rafa could in 6 years!  :no

er rafa took 76 players to this club, do we realy need to go over all this again.

i was reading in the echo the other night that he`s as good as gone, apparently part of the loan agreement we signed with milan was that if aquilani made 25 appearances for them this season that would automatically trigger a £8M or £6M (i cant remember what the fee was now but it was something like that) transfer clause in his contract. apparently the way the contract worked was that if he appeared from the start of a game that counts as 1 appearance and a substitute appearence counted as a half, at the moment he stands at 23 and a half.
apparently even if we wanted him back there`s nothing we can do about it, if he starts 2 more games for milan before the end of the season he`s their player.

btw while i do think the club have f**ked up letting aquilani go and while i do think comoli has f**ked up with some of the players brought in i have to say i think he has done a decent job moving players on, apparently he has cut something like £35M off our wage bill.
here are some of the players he`s moved on - konchesky (sold), aquilani (loan / possibly sold), cole (loan), insua (sold), big soto (sold), babel (sold), ngog (sold), tom ince (sold), jovanovic (?), degen (?), poulson (sold), meireles (sold), el zhar (sold), irwin (released), bruna (released), saria (released), chamberlain (released), cooper (released), highdale (released), hansen (loan), darby (loan), gulacshi (loan)
obviously it`s not nice to see lads released by the club and hopefully they will find clubs to take them on but looking at it from a lfc business perspective the squad and wage bill did need trimming and to be fair to comoli it looks like he has been busy.

Mate, I heard from the italian press that Milan are hesistant about keeping Aquilani or not and holding out with his appearances, if this is true then there must be something wrong with the player that we don't know about. I mean Comolli/Kenny saw something that they didn't like hence he moved to Italy.

If Milan don't buy him then I'm sure he will be off somewhere else.

I know he is a good player and all, but I really don't see a future for him with us, I think we should just sell him and get someone in the same mould as him but a bit more stronger and more determined, ala Modric perhaps

yeah, maybe your right mate. certainly the way aquilani was playing in pre season was impressive though, we could certainly do with someone like that in the side now, and a centre mid pairing of lucas and aquilani would be a good platform for next season.
