when there's a russian doll, the original post (the one at the epicentre) gets progressively darker. i'm wondering if its possible to get to the point where it is black and unreadable....

Yep, I'm struggling as well. I'd put the avatars back on the left side and put the most recently posted thread title back on the Board Index page so you can see whether you want to go into theat catigory.

Obviously it takes time to adapt to a new system but equally no point making changes where its not required or worked well previously.

Apart from that, we used to win more games under the old forum so once again the Mods are to blame!

How do we see how many times a person has posted in a specific thread?

Appreciate at lot of work has been done to upgrade the thread, maybe it's just me but somehow the overall feel is that it seems to have become a bit impersonal.

There are some good innovations on the new board BUT personally would like to see restored.

1. avatars/member info positioned back on the left of the screen
2. ability to click on "replies" and see who has posted (and by how many) in a thread
3. the displayed names of which members are active in a particular thread.

I also think,
The red bars that separate posts and sections of the forum are miles too thick, they tend to dominate the page.
The "related" topics are a waste of time, for example, look at the "related topics listed on this page , we're talking about forum changes and one of the generated related topics is "Books - Suggestions"

And Kashs sprained ankle, don't forget that!

It does seema bit colder now, but Real World is open again so I'm happy

it shows who is active in the thread right at the bottom of the page.
and the related threads can be bizarre, hilarious and nostalgic. all at the same time.

Was thinking more about when you're looking at the boards thread menu Andy, you used to be able too see who's active in the various threads.

I just wanna see how many posts each person has made in The Real World

this new look just needs some more flange
