Other club like Nottingham Forest never came back. I'm not giving up on FSG yet. Their attitude of being financially successful through winning on the pitch works for me. There's no evidence of LBO's or any of that sh'it. If they're in it for the long run, to build a structure for lasting success I'm happy to give them a bit more time. Like it or not, to be successful means LFC is a world-wide brand, a commodity, and the owners are right to protect it's image.

NESV are not selling

If they do act, then it will be in the summer. They might decide enough is enough and have a clear out of managment and players. But that's a long way off and i hope Kenny can turn this around and get us 4th with a cup.

I am really, really disappointed in them. They have left it almost until it is too late to apparently intervene and even then they have put Kenny and Luis into a position of having to make ludicrous apologies.

Are our owners prepared to stand by and see us humiliated by Manchester United? Ferguson must be laughing his :censored:

Will they do anything about the corruption in the FA...no they will do FA!

I am sick to death of this and playing football and moving on will not right the wrongs of the last few months. We have been humiliated by the most despicable organisation on the planet. We are a laughing stock!!! :angry:

I said a very long time ago that the owners and Ian Ayre should have taken control. I'm not sure that it is just Kenny's job to handle a situation so sensitive that it made worldwide press. Too little to late from these guys. Kenny and to some extent Suarez have been let down by the inaction of others. Defend Suarez by all means for what he believed was a genuine mistake but accept that it was a mistake.Suarez's reputation has been further tarnished as a result of this and I believe that before yesterday Suarez failed to fully comphrehend exactly what he had done. Ferguson and Dalglish hate each other and the entire issue became an emotional points scoring exercise.

There's no point crying son, the writing was on the wall. Suarez is a a fool yet he was trusted in front of a global audience to do something as complicated as shake another man's hand. FAIL. Kenny's been dragged into it through his own frustration when he should simply have said 'there will be a club statement on monday'. The media wanted a headline and Kenny gave it to them.

The media love Citeh because of Tevez, they smell blood at Chelsea becuase of AVB and Torres, Aresenal because of Wenger and poor performances etc.. Liverpool provide teh entertainment via Suarez. The press line up to suck the biggest tyt and right now, thats LFC.

It was always going to end up with purple nose taking the high moral ground. It had very little, if anything to do with racism in the first place and the FA, the media, Evra and cu'nt-hooks took it to another place altogether.
If Suarez would have shaken Evras hand would it have made everything ok? Would it have banished racism from football forever? Would it fu'ck. It was just a sham and a false gesture made important by phony hypocrites.
This has actually set racism back rather than try and solve or stop it

well clearly, and correctly, the owners felt that enough was enough and instructed an apology. believe me, by apologizing, the club has given itself the platform to repair its image that the media has tainted. at least this will put a close to a saga which has really been dragged out for far too long, and Suarez should be in a better frame of mind, with this issue behind him now. FSG has got an excellent reputation, so does Liverpool, and the apology was a vital form of damage control.

For an organisation the size of Liverpool FC it shouldn't need the owners having to get on the phone from Boston, the hierarchy at Anfield should have gotten this sorted themselves.

After the continual interfering from H&G in their spell I'm happy for FSG to take a back seat like they have been doing and letting the club operate as it's own entity. All this episode has shown is that the people at Anfield don't appear to be skilled enough in PR and come the summer (after everything has hopefully died down a bit) bring in a skilled PR director to make sure this debacle never happens again.

This has nothing to do with PR Rushie.

The owners should have appealed this and taken it to the highest courts of England, free speech literally on trail. We would have won hands down, based on the fact that manure and Evra HAD no real evidence to back the accusations levelled at Suarez.

To add insult they have then demanded Suarez and Kenny apologise to the very club that condoned Evra's racist comments directed at Suarez which kicked off this whole mess.

This is the lowest I have ever felt as a supporter, the owners and the entire management of this club are a f**kin disgrace. You stand by your players and manager you don't hang them out to dry for the whole world to laugh at them.

i have to admit though, i was really under the impression that we were gonna appeal when the strong statement was made, so when we accepted the ban, i was shocked. we definitely need someone smart in the PR dept.

its time this lot got off their ar$es and sorted this mess out properly and begin to question the events over the last few months.
their response of simply making suarez a scapegoat is clouding the whole issue of double standards.weve been dragged through the gutter by the fa,the media and rival clubs.
enough is enough its time they got out of the back seat and ask some questions or at least explain why we feel wronged.

Agree with this

I dont blame Suarez for not shaking his hand but he is way out of order for telling the club he would and then not doing it.

We all moaned that G&H where always in the press and now we are moaning that FSG havent been involved. You cant have it both ways.

i think the owners are more out of order for making kenny apologise over a few crossed words with a t.v reporter, i`d understand it if he told the reporter to go f##k himself or something but he was just defending the club and his player the same as every manager does.
there was no need for ayres statement either.

me selling the club after not even a few years here? It's all well and good having a 5 year plan but they need to put their money where their mouth is. They have spent some money but it's not enough given how far we have fallen.
