Not a really big fan of Cavani, but I think he'll be great for us, especially when he partners with Suarez. If he's available for those money then we shouldn't miss the chance to sign him.

I would prefer Kenny to beef up the midfield with more quality. I really think if we get better service to the likes of Carroll then he will start scoring on a regular basis.

What do you mean better service, I'm genuinely confused by people saying this? Carrol has a horrible first touch on him, doesn't try to win the ball back and is by far the worst striker ever to pull on the Liverpool jersey.

Don't see what is so confusing about it mate, he was feeding of scraps yesterday and generally has done most of the season. Yes he has a bad first touch at times and he does fluff some chances but I put a lot of that down to confidence.

his first touch was pretty fuking special in the 88th minute as he flick one on to Kuyt to net the winner.

Quick, someone knock up a youtube video of all his best bits and send it off to Pep to convince him.

Will 30seconds footage be enough?

we could just fake a video and send it to their owners  :eyebrow

Maybe one of him lobbing 6 balls into empty bins...better than downing, eh?  :grinning:

20 years, you?

seriously who's been worse and I'm now talking about first team regulars. I reckon even Voronin was a more natural striker.

Carrol is THE most unnatural footballer I've ever seen he does not contribute at all, has terrible vision, terrible technique and a horrible lazy attitude.

Hazard said he was moving to England next season. Arsenal have been heavily linked with him but so have ManUtd and Chelsea. Obviously another option would be Tottenham especially if Modric leaves (plays further forward but I'm sure they'll take him over Van Der Vaart) but looking at all those sides, I think realistically it could very well come down to us or Arsenal. He doesnt exactly fit ManUtd's style of play given their personnel and Chelsea have Mata and Lampard who both play a similar role. Arsenal can do with someone supporting RVP from deep and we could obviously fit him in our side with Gerrard playing his (and Kenny seems to agree) preferred deeper role.

Big shout and probably not going to happen but he is exactly the sort of player we should b going after.

All I see of him when he plays is him flicking long balls on and nobody reading them, if we are going to continue using him like that then he is going to look even worse than some claim him to be. It isnt rocket science, either play someone up there with him who is going to read the flick or at least take a gamble ( like Kuyt did ) or stop hoofing it to him. He has never looked like a pass and move type of player which makes me think why sign him if thats the way Kenny wants us to play ? and if that is the way he wants us to play then why keep hitting the long ball to him. Its pretty much like playing Suarez and just smacking the ball to his head instead of playing it down the side or into the corners where he can bend his run and play to his strengths. I swear it looks like a conspiracy they way we work the ball down the wings and then pass it back in to midfield when he is playing. Downing is there to provide the crosses and as for Adam , Ferguson once claimed his corners alone are worth 10 Million, from what I have seen both Adam and Downing would struggle to cross a road never mind a ball.

Hazard would actually fit perfectly in Man Utd. He's the type of winger they always go after, the type of wingers we should always go after. So he might chose us over Arsenal but I'm pretty sure he would chose United over us.

I can't see it being Arsenal for the sole reason that Arsenal would never spend half the amount of money Hazard will cost on a single player.  I could see spurs dishing out the cash, if Modric went.  I could see manure getting him as well.  Their fans are getting angry when they don't buy any replacements for Scholes and soon Giggs.  And they really don't have any attacking midfield ability.  It could be chelsea because they will be willing to spend loads on anybody they think is good, regardless of the fact if the spot needs to be filled.  It could be us because he's the type of player we're looking for and want.

I assume he's going to chelsea, but wouldn't you just love to hear him signing with us as part of a Joe Cole swap deal?  :D

Nowt is going to happen, thats the rumour i've just been told.  I then did a quick search in hope that this is incorrect and unfortunately stumble across the below.

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/3001201....ol.html

Not many 'rumours' come true but this looks a pretty good one.

Shame as i would have liked to have seen one fresh face for the run in.
