Looks like Aston Villa went in for Joe Cole, but Cole wants CL football and apparently he is in France for a medical

If the deal is done between us and Lille, as part of the Joe Cole loan we have the first option on Eden Hazard :buttrock

Allegedly 2 medicals taking place at Melwood this afternoon. With N'Gog on his way I fully expect at least a striker to come in.

I have a feeling we will sign a top class player before the end of today.

Whilst it's been a great transfer window and I think the club have done well to get rid of many of the players we didn't want in a way I will be dissapointed if we don't sign anyone today.

No real reason, especially after Coates signed yesterday but it would be brilliant if we got a nice surprise today.

Im hoping for a striker who has been around the block a bit with loads of top quality experience as an excellent back up and someone who can offer some advice to Carroll. No idea who I would like but someone who has played at the very very top
