Santa Cruz has been horrible for a couple seasons.  He almost never even scores anymore, and he's lazy.

Bellamy still works really hard, and is a smarter footballer.  I'd be happy to get him as a back up.

I suppose it's hard to score when you dont play.  :Oo:

Rogue Santa Cruz:

Manchester City- 3 goals in 20 games.

Blackburn (on loan)- 0 goals in 9 games.

He's a striker.  Those aren't very good ratios.

I'm interested in Bellamy and am hoping it happens, would be nice to have a proven striker as back up

Roberto, some gutsy calls on your predictions there, you think them up all by yourself? :D

Yeah I get these visions every now and again and they seem to come true, I seem to have been proven right as some of the media are now reporting the same things.

That would be very sporting of them to take him off our hands.  :eyebrow

How do we know there hasn't been a bid for Cahill?  This is the downside of the "Closed Doors" thing.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

All the stuff with Atletico trying to hijack our bid, that's class from Nacional...  They know Coates really wants to play for us, so they are letting him.  You don't see clubs treat their players that well very often... Especially considering it's such a small club where the extra money AM are offering could go a long way for them.

Seb coates has put pen to paper on a 5 year deal, around £50000 a week. Lfc looking at releasing this today

Craig bellamy has been offered £65000 a week 1 year deal and the option of a further year

Liverpool still in the market for further players.Comolli had been told there was £100 million to spend this summer, but a large percent has gone on paying players off, agent fees etc and accomadating the wage bill which is increasing still.

Don't see us buying anymore players after we seal Bellamy and Coates, but I think we will get 1 or 2 extra in Jan depending on how our season is progressing
