We need to keep Dirk. He is a very good player and has a lot of experience which is important.
We need to keep some stability instead of having a whole new squad of newbies.

I think this might be his last year regardless, It might make sense to sell him next Summer as opposed to now, but how much of the 15mil price would drop. Is he worth 7 mil for a season, I'd say so, if you could sell him for 8mil in a year.

I´d use the 15 mill for sturridge mate. 8 million wouldnt buy his boots in 12 months.

Kuyt's story is rubbish, its the same story when Benitez was at Inter last season and they used the same quotes as last season.

once Aquilani is sold Kenny will go for one more player

Let's not forget the January transfer window and not a single player is cup tied in the Euros. We might might make a few quid extra for some teams looking to reinforce (extortion rates

To be honest if the Kuyt rumors were true we'd have to consider it. That's a lot of money for somebody that probable only has a couple years left. We do have to take into consideration that he is extremely fit and may last longer, but how much longer remains to be seen.

Sturridge for Meireles... I'd hate to lose Meireles if he consistently plays like he did for that 20 minutes. However, I'd absolutely love to get Sturridge. I think Sturridge is a very good player who can be a very good striker really soon.

If there is any doubt about Gerrards fitness then Kenny would be daft to sell Aquilani and Meireles. If he is convinced that Gerrard will be OK and able to play soon and consistently then he 'may' see the sale of both as possible. Sturridge is a very good young player who would add a lot to our squad but I would be against sacrificing one of our best midfielders (Meireles).

Maybe Chelsea would give us Sturridge and Yossi for Meireles??

No chance the 15m is true but if it is ,sell in a heartbeat. Throw Paulson in to sweeten the deal ,hell pay 1m forsomeone to take Paulson.

Dirk however deserves a grand goodbye celebration when he leaves ,Tomorrow or in a few years. I don't remember anyone working harder then him. (Maybe Gerrard).
