Anyway, i keep reading in the press (especially in the last 2 / 3 week) that we lost out on Ashley Young and Phil Jones, however, my question is, we're we ever really in for those players or did a list get leaked to the press for players that Liverpool FC "supposedly" wanted, but in reality, we didn't want them and the list was to throw the rest of the clubs (especially Mwanck Utd) of the scent for those players we were actually going for ?

Personally, i didn't think we wanted AY and PJ (but that' just my opinion).

did such a list even exist in the first place?

anyway those scums look set to sign Sneidjer  :glare:

or do they?

Slur Alex has just p!ssed all over those rumours, BBC say they're not either

I don't usually believe a word that kunt says but heres hoping

i've updated the new signings in my first post :)
who do you think will make the biggest impact this season?
i would say Gervinho and Aguero will light up the EPL.
it's interesting to see all the hype about Wickham as well.
Manure's attack looks a lot more dangerous now with Young in it.

I've never rated Gervinho that well, but he did have a great start.  I think Aguero will be great too, tho I'm not sure he can live up to the Tevez standard.  I fear not signing Wickham could come back to bite us, but let's pray it doesn't.

I'm not sure manure's offense is that much better because they lost Scholes.  I've always believed that they were mainly successful because they had these extremely intelligent and experienced players who clearly had the ability to play past their age.  Giggs is slowing down a lot and Scholes is gone.  Berbagay sure isn't scoring 20 goals again this season, and if Chicharito has the neuron damage they are saying he might, then they've lost their best striker.  Rooney could have an explosive season after being garbage last season... He's like a creepy ogre just waiting to explode.  Young's good, but I feel they may have lost more than they've gained.

And yet they'll do fine because somehow, everything always works in their direction.
