no i dont ... Was just sayin.. People harp on about us doing better than other top sides in the transfer window given we've spent more but as things are turning out Im very skeptical about our transfers so far - given the amount we've spent...

I hope I'm proven wrong but from what I've seen and expect, Henderson isnt ready for starting at the top level, Adam doesnt add much to our midfield, and Carroll while costing much might actually force us to play a style we've been trying to get rid of... Downing is an understandable and perhaps necessary purchase given his position but again I would have thought given the price tag we could do better ...

All opinions and I could be very wrong about every single player we signed so far but I would have preferred if we focused our signings around our main strengths (Suarez, Gerrard, Meireles, Johnson) and added players who complement their style and improved on position where we have struggled last season (LB, CB, and to a lesser extent DM and backup FW)..

time will tell ace, our dealings aren't over yet, I still think we will end up with a CB and an LB by the end of the transfer window

Far more worrying is we haven't got rid of any of the deadwoods. We're gonna have to honour those contarcst and big fat salaries. 90 thou a week for Joe Cole etc...

I am 99% sure what we will sign Enrique now which I am pleased about as he is a good player.

If (and it is a BIG if) Agger was to remain fit them I am not sure we would actually need another CB as he, Carra and Skrtel (who I know many don't fancy but he has been very good since KK arrived as mgr) & Kyrgiakos would be adequate IMO. Not ideal but adequate - I, like many on here, would love to see another top class CB join but I don't think we should be paying over the odds for someone like Cahill with £15M-£20M being quoted.

If Agger proves to be injury prone again then maybe have a look again for a CB in January??

cahill would be immense for us. Forget Phil Jones, cahill would be great. Lets test the waters with 11m plus Ngog. With Wilson also going on a years loan as a sweetener!
