I really dont see how we cant find a place for him. He is a talented player with something to offer. If we cant sell him, and he does not want a loan... use him ffs!

If he's at Liverpool beyond August I can't see us not using him, is there any suggestion we wouldn't?

Wouldn't be hard to give him a squad number and stick him in the squad.  He's #76.  There now he has a number, let's play him.

I've seen him wearing a different number in every picture I think  :D

he's 99 on the offal, does that mean 'uncertain future'

Easily our best player this pre-season, doesn't mean much I guess considering how :censored: we've been but it'll suck when we sell him.

If he gets sold or goes on loan it's a joke, he is in a different league to Shelvey and Poulsen, both of whom are dire.

I hope he stays , of course I hope he wants to stay too.

you just got to think Kenny has taken a good long look at him and think he dont fir into the liverpool team or has not got what it takes to be a good liverpool player.

lets face once he was fit and Rafa got a better look at him he was not over the moon at what he has just spent his money on.

Who knows what was going through that troubled man's mind?

lol i was trying to make a point without having a pop at Rafa.

"i could have put it like this, wtf was Rafa think in paying 20mil for a player that was not fit and had not been fit for sometime and by all account had fallen out of form even before he was not fit."

well thats what i posted when we we got him.

I think it's down to the player not wanting to be here more than anything, imo Kenny rates him.. any manager that has any sense knows that there is quality there.  The media in England has permanently damaged his reputation here though.  You constantly hear about how he can't do this or that is too soft blah blah blah, it's all sh!te imo.  You hardly hear the stuff about so many other players in similiar situations, but since Rafa bought him for 20m while he was injured he's been bombarded with negative comments/attitudes.  I get so sick of having to hear the sh!te from the media but when it is reiterated by fans it really winds me up.

Yes but it's the system we play too, as much as I want him to stay I am not convinced he is suited to our league.

Is he also suited playing in a midfield partnership of 2? I am not sure he is, in a 4 3 3 possibly.
