This would be a real shame, I genuinely think he would be a great addition for our team, especially if SG is out etc I'd hate to think we will get rid of aqua and raul and replace them with Adam and Henderson

I don't understand why we can't seem to sell him, I find it hard to believe that the media is that influential the guy clearly has quality higher than most players but finding him a buyer has been impossible. I don't want him sold but if it's for the better of the club then so be it, I just don't understand why it has been so hard to ship him out.

On loan again.... this Aquilani business seems pointless if this proposed new loan move happens. Just another year off his contract...and a year closer to a free transfer :veryangry

Yeah i agree. Keep him for his creativity. Stick him alongside Adam, Gerrard or Lucas and he'd probably do well. Or tuck him behind Suarez as they'd have a field day together. Both Benitez and Roy played more defensively so under KK he'd have more chance to use his skills.

Obviously we don't know what Kenny's plans are but it'd be a shame to lose a creative player especially if Gerrard continues to have fitness problems.

That's my main gripe as well.
He's no cheap signing, the last cost alot of money and loaning him out again to me is just increasing the liklihood of him leaving for feck all in the future.

I'm not sure I trust Henderson and Adam in the midfield so I'm a bit apprehensive about letting Aqua go. I wouldn't mind but another loan move is ridiculous

EDIT - another point, if the rumours about Gerrard are true I'd rather he stuck around...but that's another thing cos we have no idea

More disappointing activity in the transfer market if true...FFS loaning him out is almost as pointless as spending 20mill on Henderson !
