Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Leonmc0708 » Sat Oct 16, 2004 8:49 pm

I have read on here a number of times that people think that Salif should be given a run in the centre, his favoured position, to show what he is made of.

Today, against a midfield that had as much class as Lily Savage, he showed why this should never ever happen.

I do not see any reason for him to start another game for us.

A big thank you to Mssr. Houller for flushing away the club's precious transfer funds. What a complete waste of money...what a bad judge of talent.

Couldnt agree more Leon. I'll be very suprised if he starts in another big game for us now unless we suffer more injuries in the run up till xmas. The only worry is we wont hardly get any big offers for him. My money's on him going out on loan in the new year.

I for 1 never want to see diao playing for us again even coming on as sub.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

Seeing Diao in the Red jersey makes me sick. Can not wait till we get rid of him.

Although diao tries very hard, he cannot make it here. Maybe in a slower league he could make it. But here..no way. Real needs a defensive midfielder fast & we need a proven striker (not sure what is wrong with cisse...but don't wanna complain about him here).

so the logical thing to do is, real give us morientas & we give them diao  :D

Nothing to discuss further, the evidence is overwhelming. Diao is on his way

Yeah Morientas will be a great signing for us.

Right now, we need a proven goalscorer.

I think all of us know that baros is not a natural goalscorer (although i have a feeling he might get 20 league goals if he starts every game). Not sure how long cisse needs to adapt here. I thought he lead the line well against chelsea but against fulham....... surely he could have done better.

With all the respect to him, Salif Diao is one of the worst players that has ever worn our shirt!
