It kills any sort of youth system though, my mate supports Chelsea and he's always harping on about this player and that player coming through. Abramovich is not anywhere near patient enough to watch young players get bled into the first team

I see we've been linked with Mata. Couldn't be more excited if we got him. 2 years ago I really wanted 2 players- Luis Suarez and Juan Mata. I thought there was no way in hell either of those would ever happen and here we are with Luis Suarez

If Juan Mata came to Liverpool this summer... We've got league next season. One of the best wingers in the world. Amazing crosser and boy could he supply Carroll and Suarez. Not to mention he can score too...

He has 7 goals and 12 assists this season for Villa/Silva-less Valencia and has helped push them into 3rd. Valencia are some 500 million in debt so they need to sell.

no way. if anything, its either Gago or Diarra who will be off. everything goes through Alonso in RM and only an idiot would even think of selling him.

OK, rumors I've heard today are . Alonso coming back , lass diarra been offered to us for 12 million . Kenny will sign his new contract before the spurs game . A certain loanee who came back to day has been told by kenny that he's not going anywhere next season and will be in the first team .and there's going to be a big announcement that will shake the football world , no idea what that is like.

Stevie G was in the studio for the Fulham game. No suggestion of career ending. He was saying he couldn't wait for next season to start and to be playing with Suarez who he descibed as "dynamite"
