in terms of high profle I genuinely think Aguero is worth a shot - if he's a Liverpool fan like the rumours say he is - him, Suarez and Carroll would be destructive

after that, it'd have to be Enrique, Cahill, Arda Turan and Charlie Adam. Sorted. League title, back to p!ssing on Europe with Kenny's c0ck

If we get Aguero what formation should we play?

Hmmm we might need to play wingback system:

                      Carroll
       Suarez                     Aguero
                         Gerrard
Johnson         Lucas                    Kelly
              Agger            Carra
                         Skrtl
                         Reina

It would certainly be a conundrum trying to accomodate everyone, I haven't really thought this through. I would go Suarez cutting in from the left and Aguero cutting in from the right? Or we could partner Carroll and Aguero and get an out and out right winger. Maybe do the wing backs system. All very interesting what one player can do isn't it :D

We may find they opt to buy forward players that can play wide and slot in a more central attacking area if required. We already have Kuyt that can employ both roles but we just need more pace at the top end of the field now. Left and right footed wide men for me who are comfy playing in a 2 or 3 up front and run at the goal rather than with their back to it.

                         Skrtl
                         Reina

I think that's too defensive.

                 Reina

Johnson  Carra  Cahill   Enrique

Kuyt         Gerrard   Young/Turan

Aguero    Carroll  Suarez

That's a fecking lineup right there.  We can only buy so much which is why I kept Kuyt there.  We could also buy Adam for CM.

might get a bit exposed in the middle of the park but against the lesser sides at home we'd certainly have no problems dispatching of them with that line up

Sport.co.uk understands that Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is planning a summer move for Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez after enquiring about the availability of the German international.

forwards aren't really where we should be looking. Personally I think Gomez is an awful idea, smokescreen for Ribery AND Robben :;):

Magus's line-up is better.

I hope not. He can sniff a goal alright but his all round play is cack. Not good enough

It would be even better if Newcastle are really interested in Konchesky so we could make a player-plus-cash deal for the swap.

Enrique could be a great asset for the team but I've heard that we might pay something silly as 15 mill for him. He'll have an year left on his contract, he aint English, he aint that young... hell, he even aint that good! We could get Coentrao for that money! I hate it when we pay over the odds for players, they always turn up to be sh!t as well.

Haven't seen much of him tbh.

What's he like?

I saw him against us and wasn't that impressed.
