If we land Sanchez then that is concrete evidence that NESV are prepared to 'put up' what it takes to make this club huge.

Carrol, Suarez, Sanchez as a front 3 - fuk me, we'll be declaring by Xmas.

also shows that Kenny, commoli and Clarke combination is a winner too. good times are on the way folks.

Errrr....I'd prefer a little more solidity at the back rather than a few more upfront, tbh....

Hasn't Kenny already established this tho? I mean if that's Kenny's plans, then NESV aren't gonna be like, here's 35 million euros for this striker, feck the defense. That makes me hope that they are going to pump a lot of funds into the squad. They will be buying new defenders plus another great striker. They said we had 35 to spend in january and at least 40 for the summer. We only spent 2 in January, so possibly we have 73 to spend in the summer.

Spent 23 + 35 = 58.

Recouped 50 + 6= 56.....

We spent 2....

33 + 40 = 73...

I'm just being hopeful. But please, if there's something wrong with my math please inform me, because apparently I've been doing something wrong my whole life.

Clichy is too mistake prone, he always does mistakes defensively and isn't as solid as Martin Kelly per say. However, he is an excellent full back, industrious, pacey and a good tackler. I don't think he will come to us he will probably go to La Liga or Seria A

We need a center back and a left back asap

I think Clichy would be a decent signing if we got him for cheap. I'm more concerned about CB's and wingers tho. I think Johnson has filled in on the left really well. Our defensive leaks all tend to come from the center.

Thanks for that mate i thought he was. Pacheco can play on the wings not as an out an out but a front 3, also Meauvax (spelling) can play anywhere behind the striker as can Pacheco. Hence another player to stop the progress of Pacheco.

Figures around the £17m mark being banded about. One of the top LB's in the EPL but £17M is a lot of cash for a full back (Glen Johnson...

see the bbc rumour bout liverpool being linked with the brazilian playmaker diego, anyone think that wud be a good signing i know i would definately take him.

On LFC.tv there's an article about the left backs we are linked with. Worryingly, there is no mention anywhere of wingers or central defenders.....methinks we really need to strengthen all three areas.
