Yeah, I'd go for this one... but what about untill Carroll is actully fit? Cant play N'Gog untill then... can we?

i dont see much point in persisting with maxi or kuyt on the flanks,neither can put in a decent cross or beat the full backs.
gerrard isnt as influential on the wing as in cm but scores more from the wing and can place a ball in the box.
thats what i would like to see but prob never will:D .

one interesting i see in this thread is that nearly every one has our new striker stuck out on the left wing.
we complain so much about about playing strikers out of position but we dont seem to want to see a change.

this one, but i will replace Kuyt and bring in Cole instead. he is capable of making those mind staggering passes and tricks which would be so useful in dummying defenders, especially since we have Gerrard, Carroll and Suarez as goal threats now compared to previous seasons when it was just Gerrard and Ladyboy.

suarez is only playin wide left in most because i dont think we hav enough quality to play a 442.

hey thank god we will not have any gray mucking about with his sky pad on tv thinking he can set our team up or thinking he knows how we are going to play.

thats just bloody mad lol.............but in a way i could see it work but with Gerrard and meireles so far back loads are going to moan about us playing long ball football.

Why would this lineup lead to the long ball tactic? On the contrary having 2 players which can hold the ball and pass it would allow our CB ,FB to push the ball towards them comfertably which today they can't do to either Lucas or Paulson.

Think about it.

Think about it.

your playing a 4 2 3 1 , with the best ball movers just in front of the defenders, looks great on paper but i a game both of them would be pushed back helping the defence most of the time and the three in front end up plays as the midfield.
spurs tried it the other year and it looked a mess.

ok when its a weak team we would run all over them but theres no weak teams in the prem now.

not many just sit back and try to hold you off for a 0-0, they all think they can win and come at you.
