OK well maybe we have it, but if we don't sell Torres, it's 50 mil we weren't going to spend.

By the way, I've been a Liverpool supporter since I first warmed up to "soccer" back in 2002, but I've been a Red Sox fan since more or less birth, and I can say that Henry & Co have been very wise with their money since they took over the Sox. This includes dropping $50m on Daisuke Matsuzaka, who has been a decent player but a MASSIVE merchandising/financial boon. So, neil, I do retract my "money we don't have" statement!

we obviously have the cash either now or in the summer.so who cares.were getting rid of a sulk and getting a refit.

Hilarious if we were to hang on to Torres. Those three up top would be crazy. The owners have the money to invest so I'm sure they would be happy if he stayed haha.

Ya that's true. Carroll may not cost us much at all in comparison.
