Guardian and Times reckon we are gonna seal Ashley Young and Charlie Adam tomorrow. As well as that we are in talks with 3 clubs over a replacement for Torres.

I find this whole shabby episode just plain sad ...its completely shattered my belief that some players are not for turning ,I foolishly believed Fernando Torres to be one of those rare breed ..... a player that actually believed any move away from the Reds would be a step down ...but I was so wrong about the Lad ,and the last few days have been soul destroying ....I cant even bring myself to verbally abuse the Lad and I have noticed some have taken great solace out of doing precisely that .... this being a supporter business is becoming frankly depressing .................

Transfer deadline day usually is disappointed only because the owners were always pretending that they were going to spend when they really weren't. Now they will actually spend the cash.

Micah Richards, Charlie Adam, Ashley Young, Adam Johnson, Nico Krancjar, Taiwo and Wickham.

Andy Carrol would be fantastic though, but £30 million already rejected by Newcastle, who the hell do they think they are, they can't afford to turn down that kind of offer!!
