Hmm I didn't think this could be done, but let me just work this out for you, based on what fees clubs would probably accept:

Andy Carroll - £27,500,000
Arda Turan - £13,550,000
Charlie Adam - £8,600,000
Daniel Torres* - £350,000
____
= £50,000,000  :;):

C'mon Bav last season Ronaldo scored 35 goals in 33 games. This season he hass 32 in 32. That is irreplacable. And lets not kid ourselves, Torres was almost a hinderence to Spain winning the World Cup last year, he was absolutely shocking. In his 1st 2 seasons here he could have rightly been talked about in the same breath as the likes of Ronaldo and Messi given how incredibly he performed for us, but could you honestly say that about him in comparison to those two since the start of last season?

I was taking into consideration that we already had £7.5 million for the Charlie Adam's bid in the kitty, giving us £7,850,00 to splash on a left back.

:D

Its looking like he will be a Chelsea player by tommorrow hes been back in Liverpool all day and hasnt changed his mind so fuck him.

If we get a goal scorer in by tommorrow we will be ok for the rest of the season.

I did it yesterday, and I only clciked "like" on Thursday! Pretty obvious that this whole transfer saga is my fault.

that may have been part of the money which pushed the Suarez bid up from £14.5million to £22million though

this is a great idea actually. as long as we can give a left back the number 9 shirt it means nobody has to throw theirs away. everyone's a winner/

Been in France with college ski trip so have been following this at arms length all week. I'd reconciled myself to losing him in the summer but was really hoping we could keep him until the summer and it would have been great to see his partnerhip with Suarez but it doesn't look like we'll get to see it. I am regretting getting tickets for the Chelsea game next Sunday though, it will be like a dagger in the heart to see him in a blue shirt.

Absolutely imperitive we bring a striker in when he goes otherwise we're stuck with the untried Suarez who could take some time to settle, Ngog and part-timers Kuyt and Babel to do the job upfront. Anelka makes perfect sense and i think the club are foolish if they don't include him in the deal. He's ready made to come in and hit the ground running, has voiced his affection for the club, and lets be honest, letting him go all those years ago was a big mistake. I think he's got a few more years in him at the top.

Agree with Bav on the McCraechen shout, this lad has got a very bright future and i was thinking he would be a good shout on the plane home. He's one of the brightest young centre-mids in the country along with James McCarthy at Wigan.

I'd be happy (for want of a better word) enough with 42-43 million + Anelka I guess.
