If we could sell Torres ... Llorente for £26m would be a great replacement.

ferguson just acts all interested. he's being the c*nt that he is and trying to raise the price on us.  He doesn't want to buy him, he wants us to pay twice what he's worth.

I still want him tho.  I've said from the beginning, 10mil would be my max.

Says on Caughtoffside that if Tores goes well try and bring in Wolfswinkel, not a bad little poacher.

I think Van Wolfswinkel could be a decent signing but he's still hurt for at least another month tho right? cup tied as well so no Europa.  We are still stuck with eggnogg :O

I would love to see Giuseppe Rossi here tho.

Report: Liverpool Ups Charlie Adam Bid to £8 Million, Manchester United Joins Race

Liverpool and Blackpool have remained at an impasse for weeks regarding a potential transfer agreement for midfield playmaker Charlie Adam, with Seasiders management refusing to part way with their its star player for significantly less than Ian Holloway's £16 million valuation, even though Adam has requested a transfer and his father has publicly lashed out at the club.

Now, Liverpool has reportedly again raised its bid for the 25-year-old Scotsman to £8 million, nearly double the original offer, but that sum has still not been enough for Blackpool.

That, though, could be the least of Liverpool's problems as far as Adam is concerned, as Sir Alex Ferguson is now reportedly strongly pursuing Adam for a summer signing, according to Daily Mail.

After United's comeback win against Blackpool, Ferguson praised Adam, saying that his corners were worth £10 million alone.

With a nose for goal and immense vision and passing range, Adam is a player very much in the mold of aging United legend Paul Scholes, and Ferguson sees the Scotsman as a potential replacement for Scholes on the pitch.

While Holloway has been very reluctant to sell Adam in the midst of a relegation battle with 18 months remaining on the midfielder's contract, he would likely be much more amenable to a move in the summer.

Ferguson is not reported to be attempting to buy Adam during the remainder of the January window.

Adam, a record signing for Blackpool, was purchased from Rangers in 2009 for £500,000

fergi b*tch just being a f*cking c*nt and trying to up the price on us.  We could have gotten him if the little f*cking c*nt didn't act like he's interested.  if he were actually interested he wouldn't have said that his corners are with 10 million, he would be trying to get a good f*cking deal too, but he's a f*cking c*nt licker who likes to take it up the a*s and suck f*cking c*ck and trying to f*ck us over

I don't know if this has been posted previously but there is a rumour going around in Liverpool that Rafa is going to be the next Chelski boss and that's the reason Abram'vich is personally taking on the purchase of Torres, He is obsessed with the champions league and knows Rafa is one of the best in Europe.

No it isn't Zara. In fact id say it's a perfectly logical move for Rafa as he wants to manage again in England. Fkd for us if he does but I think he would take it. He'd never manage the scum but Chelsea I can see him managing.
