I wouldnt mind Anelka as part of the deal but not for 10 millions for a 31  year old

Yeah but how old is Anelka? Hardly any resale value whatsoever. Sorry but we want younger players for the future. Anelka would simply be to tide us over till the summer as FT has fked us over with the timing of his tantrum.

As for Bent at villa.. we'll your talking about a manager who paid 12mil for Diao. I don't think he can be used to justify anything.  :D

Comeon mate... 3.5 mill? He's a striker who can still score goals, he's old but he has few more years left in him. I'd gladly accept if it were 50 mill plus Anelka but if it's 40 mill + Anelka or just 50 mill then I'd go for the first one.

Just Money doesn't help us ,we still need to save this season meaning we need at least another striker...Anelka would be a good option.

If they want him , they should pay the full amount in cash , never mind fobbing us off with players they no longer want !

Don't want Anelka here , been there done that , his baggage , is his brothers . Don't want Drogba either , too old !

Can't believe it's still dragging on .

Would really like to turn the clock back and be looking forward to seeing a lethal partnership between Suarez and Torres.

That was the dream !!  :(

Unfortunately the dream has turned into a bit of a nightmare !!

Diao was about 5 million mate, Diouf was about 10 i think.
Bent was overpriced but will get goals.

I would take Anelka all day, he will come in and shouldnt need time to settle etc. Still a top player and will have a couple of years left at the top i think.
