Thats why its heartbreaking and why i wont turn on him no matter how he goes or who he goes to. We might never know the real reasons hes done this but im convinced he wasnt just buttering the fans up everytime he declared his love for the club. I think the bust up with Stevie and Carra has alot of wwight behind it alothough i wouldnt blame anyone. We will move upwards with or without him i just hope he looks in his heart and decides to stay.

The rumour is that Torres has been in Spain and is :censored:

off at his agent for pushing this so far. He was aware of an offer from Chelsea on Thursday and seeing there was no apparent headway in new signings advised his agent to listen to the terms of a new deal with a view to use it to force transfers on the club. The agent figured he could get a cash deal out of this and faxed the transfer request through to the club even though Torres was never aware of it or agreed to it. He will be back tomorrow to sort this out with the club and has fired his agent.

The bust up with Stevie and Carra is pure speculation, and Steven Gerrard have been trying to convince Torres all day for him to stay.

The reason he is leaving is more personal for him than anything really. He wants to win things, he can't find it here.

Thats all Bullsh!t, who ever made it up is just heartbroken like the rest of us.

Torres did not fire his agent, Torres MADE IT CLEAR to the club that he wants to leave, hence the statement yesterday.

Strurridge is nobody's reject. He's fckn garlic bread and if they're too stupid to see it I'd gladly have him here. Preferably WITH Torres and Suarez...and Ngog.

But it is true that he has been in Spain so it seems a bit fishy that the transfer request was sent through to the club with him not here and how did he have talks with Dalglish last night if he wasn't here? I'm not convinced he'll go to Chelsea by monday I think another twist could yet emerge.

He is in Spain because he had 2 days off or something like that, told the club by the phone that he wants to leave
