On the bright side it will allow Kenny's to bring in all his targets and we can move on.
If it was just a rumour I think Kenny would have come out and rubbished it.
Torres is special but it must be said that hes a fair weather player and goes missing when the going gets tough a lot of the time.
I have 100% faith in Kenny doing whats best for us so I wont lose any sleep if Nando does jump ship.

This is mad. We (Liverpool FC) do/should not sell to their rivals. It's as simple as that. Remember When we tried to sign that defender from Mwanck Utd. Whiskey Nose said along the line "no way are we selling to a rival........"

Listening to Talksport, Jason Cundy saying along the line of "Torres to move to Cheaski would be the best thing all round as LFC would get a load of cash to rebuild etc etc. This is Bollox. It would send out the wrong message for all concerned (fans included).

I think the owners should make a statement of intent by signing Suarez and Adam etc. Obvioulsy this has to be done right, however, this would show the rest of the EPL that we are going in the right direction and very very serious about rebuilding with our core players (Torres, Gerrard etc).

They clearly do not want to sell, its the last think they want, but as has been said before this all boils down to what the player wants not the football club. I hope as much as anyone that this is all fabrication but if he does genuinely want away we have to let go and move on.

A caller on Talksport (LFC fan) saying that Torres does not want to play for Liverpool FC anymore and that Reina wants to go to Mwanck Utd. Where is all this coming from? Is this true?

Ive got mixed feelings to be honest.
I can understand his dissilusionment with Benitez and hodgson. But he is very much mistaken if he thinks things will be better at Chelsea.
He has got everything he needs here and if he goes it will spoil my opinion of him forever.

But if Torres is happy to walk out on us at 5 minutes notice when we need him most, then I would rather we cashed in and give Kenny the chance to get all his targets.
As I've said before Torres is special and I want him to stay, but a sulking Torres is as good as a man down as anyone who's watched him this season already knows.

I dont think the lad ever said anything bad about Rafa or Roy.
His anger was always directed at the previous owners. He knew as well as we did that they were taking the mick.

All he has ever asked for is that the club show him some ambition and sign some players.....but we haven't. He stuck with the club through some of the worst times with the previous owners and now that he is approaching 27, he wants success. He has never won a trophy at club level.

I personally think he stayed during the summer thinking that new owners and investment was on the way. Finally we got the new owners but getting close to deadline and we still havent signed anyone. The situation is the same as it was last summer if not worse. Torres said back then that we needed about 4 quality players and thats still the case.

i cant blame the lad at all for getting frustrated.
