I'm not too bothered with him leaving but the timing is awful, in the summer with adequate time to find a replacement would be more ideal. Shame on him if he pushes for this transfer with 3 days left in the window. I would lose a lot of respect for him if he actually does this.

Tomkins saying that torres has handed in a transfer request and other lfc journos saying similar.

A few saying it doesn't look good!

surely LFC should say

1) you're not leaving in Jan
2) you're not leaving to another team in this league
3) we'll consider 50 million bids in the summer from abroad

Looks like whether the clubs match on valuation. Whether there is a buy out clause or not?

Couldnt agree more, that's the same way I feel.

Torres hasent been his best for some time now, and at the end of last season I realised that he'll be gone in a year or less and I didnt feel bad about it. He's been bad but teams are willing to pay a lot of money for him. So whats the point in keeping a 50 mil player who is not playing that good? IMO him leaving is a win-win situation for us and for him but if we get at least 40 mill + (I'm hoping we'll get 50 but I doubt it). All I would ask from him now is to stay at least untill the end of this season cos we are in a big mess here but could still save something from this season and Torres, even though he's not his best, could really help.

Anyone listening to Don Hutchson? for an ex player he is talking a lot of shyte saying that we should sell Torres because he isn't up to it. Then he goes on saying that people who go to games are saying we should sell... :laugh:

fúck him. if the poor thing wanted to come to the club of his dreams and then found out it still wasn't good enough for him then fúck him. if he can't be bothered putting in a decent shift for a year so that the club he loves starts floundering then fúck him. if he can't be bothered fighting to help take the club he supposedly loves back to the top then fúck him. lets hope we get 50 million for him and that his injury troubles get worse. and if any of his mates start moaning that the club isn't good enough for them anymore then fúck them too.
