I'm guessing something along the lines of being banned from tweeting after he posted that picture of Webb in the utd shirt.  :D

Luis Suarez is not the only deal #LFC are working on. I expect more than one signing to be announced together

The thing that's great about how we are dealing with Suarez.  If it were benitez, yea we probably would have signed Suarez yesterday, but we would have paid 25 million for him.  benitez always gave in to the valuation that was demanded.  If you think about the big-name signings we've had in the past few years with benetiz, we paid 20 for Keane, 20 for aqua who was almost unkown, and 18 for johnson.  The reason we never heard of the link between clubs when we were buying was because he would close out the deal almost instantly before anybody had time to even speculate.  It was the same with selling players.  Alonso, for instance.  We were basically told we sold Alonso for 30 million, but when you look at the actual figures in Liverpool's accounting books, we sold him for something like 23 million.  benitez just wanted quick transactions, so he always gave in to other's demands.

With RH, it was hard to tell because the way he signed Meireles was so quick and unkown.  Poulson and Koncheskey weren't worth enough to even bother.  The difference between selling Alonso for 23 or 30 is like us paying either 2.7 or 3.5 for Poulson.  It wasn't a significant enough difference that there should be some long-standing debate between the two.  So we just fork out 3 and nobody complains.  He didn't have to lie to us about what he was spending and recouping.  We were also flat out told that we got :censored: for Mash.  We were never really given an exact amount, but it was obvious we didn't get what he was worth.

I'm pretty confident that NESV and Kenny share the idea that the fans should be as involved as possible after the transfer goes through.  I think they really want us to know what they spent on the player.

Yes sir I did.  Not the actual accounting books, but copied version of them.  I'm assuming a lot of you know who Jaimie Kanwar is, a lot of you actually might hate him and hate me for saying anything good about him, but he looks at what people try to claim and gets factual evidence to either prove it or disprove it.  He copy pasted (?) what the accounting  books had for player sales on many of the players we sold during the benitez era, many of the numbers surprisingly different that the number we thought.  Yes, he could have lied and wrote something different, but there would be no point and he actually has quite a reputation to uphold.

Is this the same Jaimie Kanwar?

"Luis Suarez at Anfield? The very idea fills me an overwhelming feeling of nausea. The story is probably made up media BS but I want to offer a few reasons why Liverpool should NOT sign brazen, unapologetic cheats like Suarez.

10 reasons why Liverpool should not buy Luis Suarez.

1. He's a CHEAT.

2. He's an unapologetic CHEAT.

3. He's a very deliberate CHEAT.

4. He has no concept of sportsmanship because he's a CHEAT

5. As proven at the World Cup, Whatever the level of football, whatever the consequences, he will CHEAT.

6. As long as his team gains an advantage, he will CHEAT.

7. He has the poisonous mindset of a CHEAT.

8. Once an CHEAT, always a CHEAT.

9. Has no feeling for the integrity of the game because he's a CHEAT.

10. Did I mention he's a CHEAT?!

Suarez's gloating comments about his deliberate handball at the World Cup tell us everything we need to know about him:

"The Hand of God now belongs to me. Mine is the real Hand Of God. I made the best save of the tournament. Sometimes in training I play as a goalkeeper so it was worth it. There was no alternative but for me to do that and when they missed the penalty I thought 'It is a miracle and we are alive in the tournament'.

"Now we are in the semi-finals although I was very sad because no one likes to be sent off. The celebration afterwards was impressive, but very quiet because nobody gave us a chance but, with courage, we move forward."

This kind of cancerous mindset represents everything that's wrong with modern football. What makes it worse is enabling fans who justify cheating, and come up with excuses to condone it.

Why would Liverpool - or its fans - want a player with such a grotesque attitude to fair-play representing the club? Does he get a pass because he's allegedly a good player?! Is that where we're at now? As long as the player is good, he can be the biggest cheat in the world? I absolutely hate that kind of thinking. I personally don't care how good a player is - if he's a deliberate cheat, I don't want him at the club.

I can't stand to see Liverpool gain any kind of advantage as a result of cheating. I take no pleasure from it whatsoever. I would rather lose a game than win it as a result of cheating.

There are cheats everywhere in football, but the majority of small-time cheats are small fry compared to big-league cheats like Suarez, who are willing to do it at the highest level, irrespective of the consequences.

If Hodgson was to sign Suarez, my support for him would dissipate instantly. Such a player is the complete opposite of everything LFC stands for, and the manager should know that.

In my view, any fan who supports the signing of Suarez is complicit in the collective and continued acceptance of cheating in modern football.

Zero tolerance on cheating in football.

That's the only way forward. And fans have to lead the way...

Jaimie Kanwar"

I wonder would his support for Kenny ""dissipate instantly" if we signed Suarez?

Yup that's the Jaimie.  The thing is, just because he's good at getting facts doesn't mean he doesn't have an opinion.  I like all the facts he has figured out and I do read many of his postings, but when it comes down to his opinions, I often disagree with many of them.  I read that about Suarez and I didn't feel anywhere near the same way.  Also he has videos of top divers on his site with Gerrard on there.  To me, he has had something against Gerrard for a long time.  He tried to prove he wasn't biased by saying one of our own was a bad diver and targeted Gerrard of all people for some reason.

Just because I read his stuff doesn't mean I support it, but I do enjoy reading the stats he writes about.  Not so much the opinions.  Although I have agreed with some.  Like Johnson needing to go.  Support RH for 6 months before sacking him. When it was time for rafa to go.  etc...

Sorry ethanr I wasnt trying to suggest that you agree with all of this guys postings, I just googled him and that post popped up at me what with all the media linking us to Suarez, when I read it then I just thought it would be fun to speculate on whether he'd treat Kenny the same if we signed Suarez.

I agree with you that people can write interesting posts and that we should be allowed to quote them without being branded as agreeing with every opinion that person has.

Cant say I agree with you on Johnson though :)

Transfer fees are not usually paid in single lump sums. I understand it's pretty m uch common practice to pay in a series of installments plus it's not uncommon for the fee to be linked to incentives. I seem to recall the Alonso deal could be worth £30 million IF Madrid win the title in the 3 years that followed the deal or somethign along those lines. Also, more often than not it's the journalists who do the speculating about the actual fees and we hang offf their every word.
