Agreed Metalhead, even in the first half when we were pressing and still had 11 men he was very poor

Torres is finished at Liverpool and today was the final nail in his career here. The lad has either lost his touch or just doesnt want to be here. Its not even a hard decision any longer really as hes giving us absolutely nothing, a complete passenger in the game. Dont know about down to 10 it was 9 given Torres may as well have stayed at home this aternoon and when we really needed him as well.

look Torres has not been right for a very long time, i dont think its to do with the club, it could be due to playing in the prem but he has been just as bad for spain.

he looks like he dont wish to be playing football and thats very strange from a player that had so much hunger for it.

could it be he only likes being in a winning team......a team that he is only a part to play in it and not the be all and end all of it like he is at our club.....is it too much for him?

i hear he has come out and said he wishes to stay at the club........but do we need him? going by how he is playing theres got to be a case of saying no.

if the money is there and we buy a top striker then his days at the club could be coming to an end.

been saying for a while that he doesn't look like he wants to be here, and with uncertainty hanging over the club (again) i suspect he'll be gone in the summer, along with a few othes.

What's everyone getting their knickers in a twist for. He isn't going anywhere. Just wait till we bring in a few fresh faces he will be fine.

i'm not convined. Add to that the fact that we have no idea who our new manager will be until the summer and i fear for the worst.

His eyes lit up when his number was held up to come off. He legged it off the field quicker than he moved the whole 75 mins he was out there!  :sniffle

I'm not sure it has anything to do with wanting out of LFC, his performances for Spain have been no different.
Something is up for sure, perhaps he's homesick or has some other personal issues.
Could he still be carrying some kind of injury??
I think it's got to be a high priority to bring in a big goal threat in this transfer window to take some pressure off Torres and give us a goal threat.

I doubt it mate you even said yourself hes playing bad for Spain. Give the lad some credit hes not a mercenary or he would of left Athletico a long long time ago and he would of chose United instead of us.

I feel totally let down by Torres, his performances have been pitiful of late.

Who the Fluk does he think he is?

Does he think he's better than us? don't make me laugh Nando

He needs to watch some videos of Rushie's workrate in EVERY game to see a true No. 9

i love the lad but i feel we're getting mugged off by him.

I still think he is mugging us off

Dalglish on Torres: "He wants to do it, you can see he wants to do it. We'll get him going sooner rather than later."

Reporter on Torres' form: "..nobody has a magic wand...". Dalglish: "Fernando Torres has a magic wand."
