saw Harry Potter last night, much much darker than the oter films.
got to say it was outstanding, but itdi have the wife ballng her yes out near the end lol.

one thingis a down side to it, as it is much darker, they have also made the film its self darker, its all filmed in half light. this will be a big problem when it comes out on dvd, I think they might turn the brightness up a bit for the home dvd .

the actions is so fast in places that its also hard to see what s going on and you feel you might need to see it again as theres stuff you are told that happend but you missed as it was so fast and dark.

8/10

its film festival time here in sunny gijon so this morning we went out and got our 10 film ticket and saw the first of many.

todays film was 'Putty Hill' - an american film from this year portraying a bunch of family and friends in baltimore who are coming to terms with the death of cody from a drugs overdose, and his impending funeral. filmed in a semi-documentary style the film shows the tensions, loves and worries between a group of ordinary people. no guns, no sex, no gore, no violence - but completely brilliant. funny and moving in equal measure with some beautiful and original cinematography.

I was at the new Charlie Chaplin premiere last night

I made quite a splash to say the least, you'd think no one had ever seen an I-Phone in 1928. Neanderthals
