Were we linked with Affeley? Should have known that we dont stand a chance, he will sign for Barca in January... what's with those Barca guys? They are signing Affeley and now they want Pastore and Gagawa as well. Pastore will cost them alot more than they think though.

And I really cant undertand some of you. Lukaku? Seriosly.... do we really stand a chance? He is only 18 and is already a goal scoring machine, didnt he score twice yesterday? Plus he will sign for Chelsea in January it has been confirmed.

yep heard that drogba is his idle and wants to learn from him when he goes to chelski. Hes a big strong lad for his age.

Looks like he was at the game though.That forward looks the part alright but no doubt all the big clubs will be sniffing round these lads.

Wow I actually think this rumour has actually told the truth about roy being there to my surprise..

He was there with one of our scouts, Laurent Vlaud, because comolli had recommended Gervinho. Much rather Hazard though!

Apparantly Glen Johnson will be leaving and we want to sign a player called "Rod Fanni" from Rennes, I mean seriously? you couldnt make that name up.

Gervinho would be a great signing. He has the potential to become top class and I think would cope well with the physical demands in the the EPL.

I am liking the players we are being linked with. Just hope we can hang on in there over the coming weeks and give the yanks some incentive to invest in the squad in January.

Linked with every man and his dog today...

Metro reporting Adam Johnson is a target in January. Would be an awesome signing but he is 1 year into a new 5 year deal and is at Man City who don't need to sell and probably wouldn't sell to a rival. I would truly love this to happen but unless we pay silly money we won't get him.

Unless he comes out and says he's unhappy and that his dream is to play for Liverpool. If a player really pushes things then usually they get their own way, and it's not as if they don't have ample replacements or money to buy one.

I hope so Tommy as he would be an awesom addition to our squad.

My concern though is that if he comes out and makes a statement about being unhappy, wanting to leave etc that mega rich Man City decide to let him rot in the reserves. Not like they can't afford £11m of player waste away... :oh:

Adam Johnson wanted to move to Liverpool before he was snapped up by Man City... Apparently even drove himself down to speak to Rafa.. ah well.. we can dream!!!! It would be a great move for us and exactly tehe type of player Mr Henry would like to buy, young, talented and would make an immediate difference to our squad

A lot of rumours flying about, we surely must be in for one or two players in January I reckon,

Hazard excites me, he ripped us apart when he played against us before.
Lukaka I'll admit I've never seen play, but for a 17 year old he is built like the Hulk and his scoring record right through the youth teams to his debut season in Belgium is awesome, he sounds like a star in the making and the type we should be trying to snap up.
Adam Johnson is a better player than Milner and is more effective in the Premiership than Silva has been so far... its criminal he doesn't get more of a game at City and I'd gladly have him here.

A lot of the other names I've never heard before :laugh:
