Still think he'll leave, this is just just so Citeh will have to pay more because he has a 5 year contract.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

is he really staying now?  What an idiot!

Admit that the club is not moving forward, ask to leave, have all your fans turn on you and then....stay.

Gill clearly wants to reduce transfer outgoings, the message is clear that the Glazers are no happier about the financial situation than T&T yet Shrek gets assurances? Either Gill is going to do somehting bad for United financially or 'Shrek the Stupid' has been duped.

I wonder which it is?

Either this was as the conspiracy theorist are saying "this was a fix" between Whisky nose and Shrek or Fergie has caved in.

Whichever it is, the fact that Shrek stated that the other players at Wmanck Utd are not very good in a manner of speaking, will IMO stick in the minds of the players (even though he has apologised)and fester and fester. I think there will be internal fighting as they now now that Shrek as doubled is salary etc.

Though the other players may feel like proving a point to Shrek and the world, ultimately imo I think that the fact that Fergie and the owners met and agreed to keep him will prove to be the wrong move.

I think there will be discord for a long time Mwanck Utd no matter what anyone of their fans say, and as a result I think they will finish outside the top four this season.

Anyway, everyone now knows that this was for money and nothing else   :no

Bear in mind that Ronaldo did the same thing 6 months prior to his sale to Madrid.

United would of struggled to recoup the £30m they paid for him if he was sold in January or worse next season. Many in journalistic circles believe he has signed a new deal to benefit him in the short term (wages) and guarantee Man Utd a decent transfer fee if sold in January or next season.
