Interesting one, probably too early for him yet but watch this space.

He's done remarkably well at Bolton: they were a joke only a year ago.

Oh feck he is a poor mans Roy...if Roy is an owl he is a magpie!

You two must be joking....what next Strachan? :D

feck strachan we need quality phil brown or gary megson.

Well he is a legend for me and I was afraid that a legend like him or Dalglish suffered the consequences of being a coach under the reign of twit and twát...  :D

Can someone verify the following?

Broughton has also confirmed there is a clause in Roy Hodgson's contract allowing any new owner of the club to replace him and not have to pay up all of the remaining years on his deal...Broughton admitted he didn't know the specifics of Hodgson's contract, but he had a fair idea of the details of the exit clause. "I suggested that the clause relates to Hodgson being paid a full year's salary within 28 days should the new owners want to bring in their own manager," revealed Broughton. “I don't have Roy's contract in front of me, so I can't comment on that, but it is something like that in his contract."

Does this mean that NESV owe Hodgson nothing if they fire him BEFORE the 28th day or do they owe him zero if they fire him AFTER the 28th day? I assume it's BEFORE???

before... and they still have to pay a full year's salary... it's just that they don't have to pay his full contract...

Nesv pay him off NOW. Ane then let's move on. I think we would do better jt present without a manager! Lft the players sort out the tactics and line up. A novel idea that might work.god am getting desparate  now:(

http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1323260/Fernando-Torres-Pepe-Reina-Glen-Johnson-seek-Anfield-exit.html

It is only speculating and we've been here before last sunday but I think it could go either way unless we beat Blackburn. In any event unless we're in the top half by January with Hodgson still at the club we could lose Torres, Reina and Johnson then. How much does Hodgson really think he's going to spend in January anyway? The big deals don't get done in the January window and who of the big names in Europe will want to join Hodgson's Liverpool if they're still in the bottom three. Hodgson's time is running out and he knows it.

More players beaking about leaving then. These are the same lads that just signed on long term for big money but soon as we hit the skids they want away, very poor form. They would be better in channeling that energy into performances and doing their bit to get us out of the hole they put us in. Anyways if we dont win today I think they will be holding a collection for Hodgsons leaving pressie as its unlikely he can survive another hit and carry on in the job.You wonder if all these player meets are simply to establish if the manager is a problem for the playing staff and a few may be putting the knife in Hodgsons back to move matters along.
