Torres is playing like b@lls recently, I can't blame him for everton as he was starved, but in some games he didn't look assed enough and so lazy. Even Fowler came up and said he needs a kick up his @ss and needs to start playing.

I think he wanted away in the summer and is pi.ssed because no meaningful offers came in. I can appreciate his frustration but his attitude at the moment is sh.ite !!!!!!!!!

We could have any top striker in World football up front ,but if the manager is determined to undermine his threat by playing the most alien formation to said striker then the concept is going to fall flat on its face ....at the moment the midfield couldn't find Torres  on Google earth such is their distance apart .... don't apportion blame to the only   remnant  left of us once being a class outfit ...
the blame lies squarely at the managers feet (and lets face it he looks at them enough :D )

I partially agree(90%), but what i find frustrating is his lack of enthusiasm, lack of passion, its as if he doesn't want to be here. At the end of the day he is a professional who is paid to do a job that he is at this moment in time not capable of. I accept the manager is a lot to do with it but not all.

well u partially agree (90%) lol? but your coments don't match that buddy.

Take yourself, at work if you don't know what your expected to do within a team is that your fault or your boss's!?!!

and thier is your answer, its simples... ROY OUT!!!!

Is this a Torres or Hodgson topic. Ya left footer

Big rumour going round that Torres has had a massive bust up with both Gerrard and Carra - apparently it's not the first as they had a massive bust up also when Rafa went ?

I can believe the rumour, and all this "it's the managers fault" stuff is nothing more than childish nonsense.

It's the managers fault we are second bottom and playing terrible, but it's not the managers "fault" if Torres isn't breaking sweat and is stinking the place out. It's like saying it's the managers fault that Kuyt's injured, it just makes no sense. DISCLAIMER-NOBODY IS DENYING IT IS THE MANAGERS FAULT WE AREN'T PLAYING WELL, OR OVER PROTECTING HIM, IT'S JUST THAT THE TORRES SITUATION IS ONE OF THE FEW THINGS THAT HE CAN'T SENSIBLY BE BLAMED FOR.

I don't need Andy Gray and his silly tv tactics screen thing to tell me anything about football, but prior to last nights match he very graphically illustrated where and why Torres is going wrong. If anybody can put up the link to the clip, you simply cannot watch it and not be convinced that the way Torres is going about his game currently is a lot different from the way he has done it previously.

Now it may be because he wants away, because he has already decided he doesn't want to play for Hodgson (the only way sensibly it could be partly blamed on the manager I suppose), because he's fallen out with his team mates or feck knpws what else, but to deny the fact that Torres himself isn't putting sufficient effort in, is another sky is blue situation I'm afraid.

You could tell on the weekend something was going on with the way Torres shooshed Carra in the first half.

What's happened is Hogsen has already lost the dressing room so the players cannot be arsed to play for him. That'smy hunch..

Well it would be Bav, because it switches the focus onto the manager which is fair enough I suppose. In fairness, your "hunch" has as much chance of being right as anyone else's because none of us know. What I do know though, is those that are talking about "service" and the like are a mile off. Strikers need to work their b0ll0cks off for the team, and Torres for whatever reason isn't breaking sweat.

"Lost" or not, for me (and I absolutely love the player, I think he's the best striker we've EVER had) I think Torres is currently an absolute disgrace to himself and the shirt.

Hmmmmmmmmm............. Maybe the finger needs pointing in the direction of the scouse duo who have far to much to f,ucking say at what goes on at LFC cant believe Carra got a 2 year contract on saturday.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
