Not in the slightest at the moment - I'm annoyed to hell that we spent 9 million replacing a top class manager with a proven track record with someone who has won no trophies , got a club relegated after spending 20 million and was never good enough for the club - but people never saw that because they didn't care who took over as long as rafa was gone .

Well maybe soon enough people will start to realise what a monumental mistake the club did during the summer . This is what happens when money men make football decisions .

And then again maybe they wont.
Maybe Roy will stay and we climb the table? Or maybe we will fall even lower and get relegated?
Who knows?
Does going on and on and on make a difference?
Maybe...

It's called venting anger - it's one of reasons forums are around for .

I will keep saying this....whether we got the wrong manager is not the question (in this thread).
Was sacking Rafa the right decision ?

I dont think he was going to get the squad back on his side, he had lost the team IMO so I think it was an understandable decision.
Thing is it doesnt look like they want to play for roy either. The players need to take at look at their selves and the role theyve played in this mess.
Dont judge a book by the cover, unless you cover just another, because blind exceptance is a sign,

Yeah good post.

The players need to put their ego's aside and just do their jobs with a bit of passion.

Hopefully now that the club is on the brink of being sold, they might realise good players could be joining soon and this might give them a bit more motivation.

When we look at this team compared to the team 2 years ago when we beat Real Madrid with ease twice, the difference is massive. I remember our team playing with desire and love of the game, Gerrard and Torres were enjoying themselves so much. Right now its the opposite, the players are hating every match.

hodgson is a good manager imo but hes not in rafas class, i think what rafa did was let himself be destracted by off the field events and in time lost a bit of the dressing room so it probally was best he went when he did weather roy was the right man to fill his boots is questionable imo no he isnt but i hope he proves me wrong
having said this i totally agree the players need to take a long hard look in the mirror because their attitude and lack of fight has been a joke, regardless off whats going on off the field we have far better players then blackpool and northampton and beating them at home should be a walk in the park no matter what the formation IF the players play to their ability whitch simply they have not
