Tony Cascarino`s book is a fantastic read,brutally honest.If your looking for novels i can recommend two fantastic books by a frenchman called michael Houellebecq-Atomised,and Platform,both classics.Richard Ford,"the sporswriter" and its sequel "independence day"(nothing to do with aliens btw),"day of the jackal" by frederick forsyth is the greatest thriller ever written,"papillon" an unbelievable true story about a man`s thirty years in a Caribbean prison island written by Henri Charriere i think.Alex Garland-the beach,Tom Wolfe-bonfire of the vanities,Jimmy Burns-Barca(incredible footy book),John Irving-world according to Garp(one of the funniest and best books ever written)Nelson Mandela-Long walk to freedom(you wont regret reading it),if you like travel than i would recommend anything by Paul Theroux,Anne Rice-interview with a vampire is one of the best horror`s ever,Donna Tart-secret history,Brett easton ellis-american Psycho,hey i could go on but they are the ones that come to mind.
