Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Them stories could very well be total BS but i can't say i blame him if he does hand in a request.  We've become a selling club with Alonso and Masch leaving.

'It has been suggested' are the key words in that headline.

It could have been f.uckin bilbo baggins that suggested it. Just another case of the media spreading sh!te because it sounds like something that COULD happen.

I wouldn't blame him, He got told a takeover was imminent to get him to pledge himself to the club and as usual it was BS.

Kinell the season has only just started and already the rumors are back. If there is any shred of truth to that then id hope he at least waits until next season by which point we will have hopefully installed a new owner who can bring in the quality we need. If we don't though then I really can't blame the lad for wanting away. He is the best striker in the world in his position so naturally he is ambitious. Fingers crossed though it doesn't come to that.

I actually thought he was good today, his cross to Gerrard was superb and quick thinking for the first goal

Anyone else notice the distinct friction in the air between Torres and Gerrard?

No embrace after the goal despite Torres claiming the assist, Gerrard in fact ran straight past him without any acknowledgement of the pass. Torres ran off in the opposite direction.

Seems they've either fallen out or have lost the love.

Well I was there yesterday and I thought Torres did look 'lacklustre' I didn't want to say "not interested" as 2 fella's a few rows behind me nearly came to blows over similar comments.
It's clear there is divided opinion. However the facts are in his first season you rarely saw him involved with any petty arguments with opponents or the referee, something he received praise for. At the moment it's just the opposite.

Clearly he is unhappy, some of his first touches yesterday I have to say were poor for a player of his quality.

SCS has a point there, doesn't look good at all does it? He must be gutted we didn't sign anyone else. I guess he was hopeful we would be sold.

Think your're all looking into it too much.

There was no need for celebrations, we were 2-1 down and playing :censored:, the goal was what we needed but the players realised that they needed to get the :censored: on with it again.
