would take Salcido in a flash - very good left back and better than what we have got .

Agger is good going forward from CB - its totally different from left back with overlapping forward runs not one of his strengths but a must from left back

What the papers say . . .
Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano has agreed personal terms with Barcelona for a move to the Spanish side, however the clubs are yet to settle on a fee. Barca have offered around £12m but Liverpool want closer to £21m.

Liverpool are also willing to engage in further talks with Inter Milan over the sale of Dirk Kuyt to the Italian side. The Reds have already rejected an offer thought to be in the region of £7.5m plus Nigerian striker Victor Obinna.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson will look to secure a deal to bring 32-year-old Juventus forward David Trezeguet to Anfield.

Seriously, just tell us one of his quality which makes him better than our current left backs.

Yes I have see him play a number of times .

Pace , skill , tackling , crossing - all areas where he is head and shoulders above what we have at club at left back

Who the hell Barca think they are. They can sell Yaya for 24M and buy Masch for half than that ? They rate Yaya higher than Masch ? Disgusting. :no

I'd be made up if we got Salcido, yeah he's a bit old but you wouldn't notice it if you saw him play.  He's fit as feck and I think he still has another 3-4 years in him which to me is good enough to warrant a buy.

12 million is a typo error right?  ???  i dont find it funny at all. its plain disrespectful. just because we've financial issues wit hthe club doesnt mean we're gonna let everyone rip us off like that.

come on guys what did u expect. Its bartering talk. There not gona bid 25 mil first bid are they now. Mind u saying that they will prob only bid 16 or 17 next time which is still way below. I figure we would accept 22 or 23 million which is still cheap in my eyes.
