I like the sound of getting Hleb as part of a deal for Mascherano to Barce. Hleb is a class player I think, and could play either side of midfield or off the front man. He's a player I've mentioned on here a few times in the past that we should go for.

However he clearly doesn't feature in Barce's plans, so I think we could get a better deal than 12 mil plus Hleb for Masch. Assuming that deal values Masch at roughly 20 mil then I think the 8mil valuation of Hleb is optimistic from Barce's point of view, given that he's almost 30 and clubs know he doesn't feature in their plans. I'd want the 18mil we paid for Masch plus Hleb.

Can someone remind me, when Roy arrived, he came by himself without any backroom or scouts etc..? So all players we are associated with are from the previous team, is that correct?

Ola Toivonen is a very good player, I remember seing him last year and thinkin... we should get him.

£5 Mill for him is very good business. Hope this rumour is true!
