Torres is not going anywhere.. Chelsea statement about not signing him.. they know they ain't got a chance :angry:

I knew Lawrenson was a bad whopper but feckin hell hes really pushing the boat out here ,he must be gutted Stevie is staying so he has changed his tactics now and gone on to Fernando, behave yourself you divvi

Roy has said that Purslow has been talking to Torres over the last few days and that he is hopeful he will stay

wouldn't surprise me if Torres signs a new contract

His silence is deafening...gerrard came out during the week and there would be nothing to stop Torres  doing the same

Roy said that Gerrard had to mull over an offer from a different club....im sure Torres is doing the same

I wouldn't really expect anything until the he is back in the fold at Melwood, had a chance to meet Hodgson properly and get a bit of training under his belt. Stevie didn't say anything until a few days into training so I wouldn't be surprised if Torres is the same. Remember that neither Stevie or Torres have/had given any soundbite to the press with regards to their futures, they simply got their heads down and focused on the World Cup. It's the media and the internet rumours that whip us all up into a frenzy and i'm not sure the players ever really appreciate how stressed the fans can get.

The key to keeping Torres was keeping Stevie. I'd be shocked if Fernando doesn't commit.

There have been no offers for any of our players - just speculation.

Just a little bit concerned tbh that Cecil is having to spend a couple of days with him talking about why he shoud stay, He obviously knows Stevie is staying andCole is here , as i said im  just a little bit concerned with this two day talking thing, Maybe his mrs being pregnant again has got something to do with his decision, She looks about 4-5  months pregnant in some of the pics ive seen, anyway just hope he hurrys up and makes a decision

At least one part of his body is in working order :laugh:
