well if he does decide to leave dont worry as  Roy has been told funds will be available for either james  beattie or emile heskey as a replacement.

Ah a wrist slasher. I think your lot are having a get together tomorrow morning mate. It's a group wailing session followed by some bovril and toast while you listen to some early albums by the Cure.

Torres is here to stay, if he was guna go, surely someone would have tabled a serious offer by now. when u consider he could walk into any team in the world.

Everyone hopes hes staying on but I think they need to push him for an answer sooner than later so we can start to plan early enough for the new season. A lot rests on what he decides in terms of how we set our stall out so whilst he is pondering it all potential targets/replacements could be agreeing terms with other clubs. End of the day Torres is our player and being paid a wage and whilst we want to encourage our top players to stay I do not think we should be dictated too or pushed around by any footballer. My own take is we just leave him on his hols and expect him back at work when his leave ends.If he wants away he can put in a transfer request and the club can make it public knowledge. I hope it doesnt come to that and the lad sticks by Liverpool but given the fact hes refused to comment and is now silent you do get the impression he is considering other options as we speak.

Hey Red I like the Cure meself. "The Walk" was one of the first singles I ever bought. You got a free poster of a fly with the copy I got, which sounds a little odd today but seemed remarkably cool at the time for some reason. I bought Pornography (the album not the books) after that, and Japanese Whispers when they got all commercial (obviously I went off them around this point as they'd "sold out"). I did though secretly enjoy all the poppy singles, and "Friday I'm in love" still goes down well in the pub even now. Particularly on Fridays curiously.

lets get serious now. Whatever happens we need another top striker. And u know what i would do is go to sevilla and do a swap deal with mascherano for luiz fabiano. Hes the only striker who would make a massive difference here. I know hes 29 so how much would he go for any ideas!

he is the best  striker suited for the prem. Not only is he skillful hes also very strong which in the prem is vital. He would  be massive for us. But lets be honest we got no chance of affording him unless masch was part of the deal. If we got him and kept nando we defo be title contenders. So roy get on your bike to seville and sort it!
