All correct. And Joe Terp from Maryland is a nice bloke.

But I'm a football elitist, and I want them to lose always, just like Japan and South Korea.

For some reason I want the classics of football to win, i.e, England, Italy, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Brazil... the classics.

Thing is though, USA have already eliminated England by way of winning the group and forcing England into their customary defeat by the Germans :laugh:

Well the Americans only came when we were in the process of winning the war, which makes me believe that we would have won eventually, just would have been much later. All they really did was finish off the hard work that we had been doing!

Nah seriously I like Americans, It would be stereotypical to dislike them because of Hicks + Gillet which I think dundreamin may be doing..

Tell you what I think the USA have improved a great deal over the years. They have that never say die attitude which got them this far. But with some of their main players playing in Europe they were always going to be a tricky side to deal with.
