A Ghana player had a shot and it hit Kewell on the arms, if Kewell wasn't there it would have been a goal.

Even though the Aussie's play with 10times more pride than England they lack technique, like England.

Ps, not really a good night of sport for the Aussies, England were superb in the Union running out 21-20 winners.

Isn't it great how the England players are just lazing around, smiling and laughing after putting in such an inept set of performances? These players are the greatest underachievers, more so than Holland.

Fabio Capello also seems out of his depth at this World Cup too - it's first World Cup, there is immense pressure and he is not helping his cause by not getting the balance in the team right. He is trying to squeeze as many class players into one football team and it just doesn't work. Gerrard is useless on the left and a Gerrard and Lampard partnership just doesn't function well, especially when Lampard never performes for England and his weaknesses are exploited. SWP and Aaron Lennon are not good enough for England and where is Joe Cole? What has happened to James Milner? Why is Capello playing two, slow centre backs at the back? Why is Heskey playing, what on earth does he contribute to our line of attack? Capello needs to readdress the problems before we crash out, embarrassingly.

couldn't agree more with you.. can't see why does capello insist on SWP, last night it was like we're playing with ten men, he's just not good. the only reason for him to play would be if j cole was injured, which isn't the case..

last night defoe was much better than both heskey and crouch

Where have I said Fabio Capello isn't professional? Fabio Capello is a manager of the highest quality which is why it is disappointing to see him repeating the same failed methods as previous England managers.

Why is Frank Lampard playing for England? When was the last time he performed well for his country? I can't remember.

Why is Fabio Capello using Gerrard sparingly to plug gaps? That's what Sven and Steve did with Steven and you do not get the best out of Gerrard playing him on the left wing or partnering with a player he is not compatiable with i.e. Frank Lampard.

How on earth did Robert Green make it onto the plane in South Africa? Chris Kirkland has been a fantastic keeper for Wigan. How on earth can Capello play two slow centre backs? One is bad enough, but two? If I was Michael Dawson I would be fuming. SWP over Joe Cole? Absolute madness, Joe Cole is a cracking player and defenders hate playing against him. His movement on and off the ball is first class, he can make something out of nothing, that's what we need. Not an inept winger who can't even beat the first man.

I could go on and on, but I shant bore you anymore than I need too. Capello is making the same mistakes that Sven made four years ago, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it and if we can crawl out of the group stages next week then better decision from the manager and better performances from the players are needed, if we are to seriously challenge for the World Cup.
