The biggest problem with them is probably more difficulty in communication on the pitch. Other than that though I kind of like them. It's part of their culture mate.

I'll make a note of that Bruce Forsyth style:

South Africans - Annoying as hell !

Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”

What a shame they didn't

World Cup threads are now merged.  If you're curious about the team affiliations that Dundalk organized, they can still be found on the first page.

This could get kinda confusing if Argy army meets the Aussies as I will be arguing with myself

As for game tonight mighty Maradona mastros will put two past hapless Nigerians
On personal sidenote that gentleman from Nigeria who informed I had won million dollars via email, I'm ready to collect

The biggest problem is that you cant hear anything except that annoying noise and get a headache from watching a game.

Hopefully this is the last tournament ever over there.

Jesus H Christ, enough already with the vuvezulas or whatever they're called. I cannot stand watching it with the sound on. Bad enough on that mickey mouse confederations cup or whatever it was called, but for FIVE WEEKS  Not that having the sound on mute is such a bad option, most of the commentary is banal anyway

I cannot think of a worse add for south africa. They think noise is fun so probably just walk around blowing horns non stop .

Is it too late to move the tournament to somewhere not so annoying?

There's no reason they can't have them at games, but like the band playing the ring of fire two verses (?) over and over and over again, EVERYTHING IN MODERATION.

But give enough morons one and there's no way you can have them 'in moderation'. It may be the african culture and all that bull, but the world cup involves THIRTY-TWO teams and not all the people in a stadium wish to sit through loud "white noise" (or possibly "black noise" is more appropriate if it is zulu/tribal).

Talking of Zulu, I believe that is on this afternoon and ends just before the kick-off.
