Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

One of the few technically gifted and intelligent players we have - an anti-Lucas/Kuyt if you may.
Can understand why Rafa wouldn't want to upset the "balance" (Rafa's term, not mine) of Lucas/Mascherano/Gerrard in midfield which worked so well for us this season.
Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised to see him bombed out late in the summer for about £6M to make way for the return of Gabriel Paletta.
we've only won it 5 times

I'm glad he's staying, he knows he owes us a good season, and he's gonna give us one

I think Aquilani can be a key player for us this season provided he stays injury free

I wonder what he thinks of Rafa going. Maybe he thinks he might follow Rafa to Inter. I'm not convinced someone like Hiddink or Van Gaal would persevere for very long with Aquilani.

Roy Hodgson would probably be more sympathetic. Rafa bought him because he believed in the lad.

i believe he will be one of our better players next season.clearly has ability and a good passer of the ball,he just needs to toughen up a little.a new manager could bring the best out of him.

i agree i think roy hodgson would be ideal for aquaman. As roy managed inter milan so obviously knows the language and style of play. Think he could get the best out of aqua lets hope.

Until Woy is confirmed as our new manager, please refrain from stupid posts like "i agree i think roy hodgson would be ideal for aquaman. As roy managed inter milan so obviously knows the language and style of play. Think he could get the best out of aqua lets hope."
He ain't the manager, and hopefully never will be

Good Comp - Aquilani

Good vid,

Will be a big season for him next season, provided that the new manager keeps him and he stays injury free.
