Brilliant finish for his goal tonight and a very good performance.
I was really pleased for him, you could see in his celebration his frustration coming out.

Fauxy and sir roger - people havent been saying he is a bad player.

They have been saying as a signing he has been poor.

If he has hardly played whether that be his fault or not and he was replacing one of our best players then to me signing him was a poor decision.
If he plays him and he plays like he did tonight then obviously that would not be the case. But that hasnt happened.

I loved it when he scored. Fecking get in Albert I thought, get fecking in. On such a big night and having been left out of so many games, this was his big chance to get noticed and he didn't disappoint. It's just a damn shame that it came so late on in the season when there have been 15+ other games he could have played in.

Hopes he'll get a fair share of playing time next season.

We don't have enough flair players on the team.

His passing again was really good but his only problem is that he needs to get stuck in more, he doesn't do that (as most of you say that), this is probably down to lack of confidence.

the only reason he doesnt get stuck in more is because he has to pace himself cos he aint matchfit. i can see exactly what hes doing. but ulot havent gotta a flaming clue.

well thank christ there is a footballing genius on here to put us know-nothings right. i'd never realised the reason for him running alongside a player without making a tackle was because of lack of match fitness. i'd also not realised that him running half the pitch towards an opposing player but then deciding not to try a tackle was also because of match fitness. i can't believe that every single on of us has missed something so glaringly obvious.

If Benitez isn't here next season, he might get a fair crack of the whip.

You could tell he was enjoying where he was playing last night. Give him a proper pre season and play him in his correct position and he will be a top player for us. Remember he is also still adapting to the game here.

Fiorentina want Liverpool misfit Alberto Aquilani - but salary cap may scupper their hopes

Fiorentina want Liverpool misfit Alberto Aquilani - but salary cap may scupper their hopesFiorentina are ready to offer Alberto Aquilani a route back to Italy following a disappointing first season at Liverpool.

Juventus have also been linked with the 25-year-old, who has started just eight Barclays Premier League matches this season following a £17million move from Roma last summer.

A knee injury has prevented Aquilani filling Xabi Alonso's boots but the Italy international's agent insists he is happy to stay at Anfield.
Fiorentina's interest is contingent on Liverpool being prepared to take a financial hit on the deal, while the Serie A side's self-imposed salary cap of £40,000 a week is far below the player's Anfield earnings.

Fiorentina have been linked with Sporting Lisbon's Miguel Veloso as an alternative to Aquilani.
The 23-year-old Portugal international is highly regarded and has been previously linked to Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Bolton Wanderers.

Why would we sell Aquilani when weve only just bought the bloke ???

And his season hasnt been dissapointing at all. Every game he's came on he has made a big impact to our entire teams creativity and movement. Not to mention he has had 6 assists and 2 goals in 9 starts..
